We produce and serve authentic Italian artisanal ice cream and sorbet, all of which are free from preservatives, artificial colours, and flavours, and made only with carefully selected ingredients of natural origin. We also pride ourselves in shaping our gelato and sorbet into beautiful roses. A distinctive and unique shape that has made Amorino so recognizable everywhere we are, around the world. In addition to our gelato and sorbets, we also serve gelato-filled macarons, waffles, crepes, milkshakes, affogato, coffee and teas, and our iconic creamy hot chocolates.

Reviews
The gelato was absolutely delicious rich, creamy, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. We tried multiple flavors, and each one was distinct, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. You can really taste how fresh and authentic the gelato is. The rose-shaped presentation is beautiful and adds a special touch, making it perfect for photos as well as taste. Every spoonful felt smooth and indulgent.
The variety of flavors available makes it hard to choose, and that’s a good problem to have. Whether you like classic chocolate and vanilla or fruity flavors, there’s something for everyone. The staff was friendly, patient, and helpful while explaining the flavors and recommendations, even during a rush.
Overall, Amorino Chicago is a fantastic spot to hang out with friends and enjoy premium gelato in a lovely setting. It’s perfect for dessert after dinner or just a casual treat while exploring the city. I’d definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago.
Imagine walking into a place and your nose is met by a gourmet symphony.
The smell, the ambiance, the whole assortment of gelato? Yeah… they know exactly what they’re doing.
Some of these flavors still live rent free in my palette — smooth, creamy, and honestly too pretty to eat.
The rose-shaped scoops? ADORABLE.
The flavors? Rich but not heavy.
The display case? Dangerous — everything looks good.
Here’s how it works:
You can order at the register or use the new kiosk section they added. Either way, you pay first and wait for your name to be called. When time they create your order in front of you, and you can even sample flavors before choosing (I tested like three last time before deciding ).
The line can get a little hectic and confusing, so just know before you go. Have patience.
Inside was clean, staff moved fast, and the choices were endless without feeling overwhelming. They also have assortment of drinks on their menu.
And don’t play… get the macaron on top.
That combo is the one.
If you’re in the area, pull up. It’s a whole treat experience.
The service was poor from the start. The female staff member who served us — wearing large ring earrings — gave extremely small samples when my daughter and I asked to taste three flavors. Each sample was barely enough for one person, which felt unnecessarily unfriendly.
We ordered a classic cup, but the ice cream was very soft and almost melted, completely different from the quality I had experienced here before.
The restroom situation made things worse. My elderly father needed to use the restroom, but the door was locked. When I asked twice the same staff member who served us the ice cream whether there was a password, she told me there was none. After several failed attempts, I asked another staff member and was then told that there was a password. This inconsistency was confusing and stressful, especially for an older family member.
What truly left a bad impression was the attitude. As I was leaving, the same staff member with the large ring earrings stared at me in an unfriendly way, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Overall, the service made us feel treated differently and not respected. Regardless of background or language, every customer deserves polite, consistent, and respectful service.
