Absolutely outstanding sushi, best I’ve had in the area. Pictured (and almost gone) are the alligator and the dynamite (so good), Lackawanna and dragon, and jalapeno poppers (also pretty darn good). Seriously. Get it in ya.

Fantastic spot to eat. Best Itamae in scranton. Wonderful staff. Sushi is always presented beautifully, and tastes even better. If you’re ever in the steamtown mall make sure you pop into the food-court and visit amori, you will not be disappointed.

Extremely slow service, made each dish one at a time instead of getting multiple on the grill at once. Waited about 45 minutes. They ran out of sauce so food was bland. Good quality though. Majority of menu options are out of stock though.

It is a great find in the middle of the city. Hiding on the corner of Scranton is a high-class food quality and superb customer service. A must try heartwarming meals whenever you visit the Marketplace. You can taste the chef’s passion from their food. AFFORDABLE. Perfect all the time of the day.

The food is great! I would recommend it for anyone. The staff is very, very generous and kind with the toppings and wrapped the sushi very well. Everything arrived very nicely. I ordered the American sushi, but I was luckily able to sample other kinds of sushi. I would have loved to show more photos of the platter, but it was all gone before I could…I was pretty hungry .

Let’s out the food aside (even though that’s hard to do), the staff here is absolutely fantastic. They’re very friendly, super clean and neat, and they’re very personable.
Back to the food… Always killer! The sushi is delicious, and expertly crafted. I’ve recently discovered their ramen, also amazing.
I understand they’re moving to a new location within the food court, and will offer new food.
Definitely eat here. It will not disappoint!!!
