When we walked in, we were quickly greeted by the owner I believe. We were the only ones in the restaurant, which is always daunting. However I am glad we stayed. It is BYOB and we were not prepared for that and there is nowhere super close.
Bread came out piping hot. It was a little bland and could use more garlic and butter. I don’t like it drowning in it but this just tasted like fresh bread. I added salt to marinara and it was good.
Side salads were good
The portions are huge! Chicken Cacciatore was good but could use more spice. There was very little bite, added red pepper and it was good.
Chicken piccata was very lemony, which I love. I like a lot of capers. If I order again, I will ask to double the capers. It needed salt as well. Chicken didn’t appear to be breaded. It has parm on it. It was delicious.
All in all we will be back!
Service was great and she was super nice. There was music in background. Wouldn’t say it’s a romantic spot as you can hear kitchen and people calling out to go orders. Very casual.

Three couples had lunch here and we each had a pizza. All the pizzas were perfectly cooked. Great pizza crust and fresh ingredients. I shared a huge Mediterranean Salad with my husband. We were tempted to fill up on the fresh, warm garlic rolls that were served with Marina sauce.
Another benefit of this restaurant is you can bring your own wine. We enjoyed a bottle of red wine with our pizza.
The food is delicious and the price is affordable! We will definitely be back. I understand Tuesdays they have a special buy one get one free on pizzas.

This is a fairly small restaurant in this strip center. I got the Shrimp Alfredo, and although the sauce was a little runny for my liking, it was really good. Made it good for dipping the bread in and was sufficient for coating the noodles, however. I think it would have gotten thicker if I had let it cool off a bit as the food came out hot, as we wish all food was when it came out of the kitchen. Others in my group got the eggplant and pizza. Everyone said it was really good and said they were putting this place on their list of favorites, and I have to agree. The food here has more of a homemade flavor than the bigger Italian food restaurants. Give it a try. You might just get another favorites added to your list.

Loved Amores!!! We had a craving for Pizza and Italian but wanted to try something local! We decided to place a to-go order, but next time we will opt to eat inside, as the space seemed nice, clean and cozy. In total we spent about $70 along with very generous portions of…Caesar Salad, Mozzarella Sticks, Supreme Pizza,Chicken Alfredo and Tiramisu.

We had the restaurant to ourselves, which was surprising because the food was excellent with large portions, the service was top notch, and the atmosphere was romantic. We will be back the next time we are in town!

Absolutely wonderful dining experience at Amore’s! Some of the best pizza we have ever had and the pasta dishes were delicious. The atmosphere was clean, warm, and inviting. Lisa was so patient with our two young boys and made us feel so welcome. Will definitely come back when in the area!

Absolutely incredible experience! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service made us feel right at home. Our toddler is usually a very picky eater, but she cleared her entire plate without a single complaint that alone says everything! We all left full, happy, and already talking about our next visit. Truly money well spent. Highly recommend!

Hands down one of the best pizzas and Alfredo I’ve ever had. Everything is incredibly fresh and made from scratch. The manager even mentioned they don’t have a microwave because nothing is reheated — and you can taste that level of freshness in every bite. 10/10. Definitely going back for more!
Forgot to take picture because we are too busy enjoting the food.

(If I could give 6 I would!) We wanted to host a networking wine event in the area, found Amores online, they’re BYOB so scoped in person.
Don’t let the non descript strip center fool you, it’s chock full of quaint charm, atmosphere, and appropriate music.
Brandon, owner, greeted me, I told him what we were looking for and he said “DONE! Whatever you need!”
We did a pre meet to sample the menu and Lisa, our wait person/hostess was fabulous explaining the 40+ yr history, the menu thoroughly, the original recipes, longtime chef, and “what do you need for the event? DONE!”
The chicken Alfredo pizza blew us away, calamari and antipasta salad were fresh and perfect
But what starts all this epicurean love ❤️ are the fresh rolls with homemade (5 hrs!) Marinara sauce
The event execution was beyond our expectations (see pics)
Attendees were so thrilled they ordered more food to go
Grapevine, you have a GEM in Amore’s!!
DFW: absolutely worth the drive from wherever you are.
