Yep. It’s a winner. Probably the best authentic Mexican I’ve had in Massachusetts. There may be better but I haven’t had it. Solid chips and salsa (a must for any Mexican spot) and very good entrees. Also flan. It’s a comfortable spot with a laid back vibe and good service. Definitely going back.

New to the area, and I am so happy to have Amores nearby! Went the other night and had an excellent meal. My two dining partners had the chicken soup (which had delicious fried cheese in it) and the grande burrito (which was HUGE). I got the chimichangas (one beef and one chicken), and it was DELICIOUS. I loved that each person gets their own salsa (which was tasty), and the margaritas were pretty good as well. Highly recommend and will be back.

As a Texan with wide access to Mexican food it can be tough to find good Mexican food on the North Shore. This place delivers. Good flavors. A wide variety. All the options we selected were good. High marks to the nachos from one guest.

Went here for late lunch yesterday with my wife. What a great surprise. The bartender (which I forgot his name) was fantastic. My wife got a margarita and was quite pleased. I explained to him I was going to a Super Bowl party Sunday night and was looking for a recommendation. He suggested taquitos. I ordered one and was sold. My wife got the tortilla soup and I the chimichangas that were crazy good. I am going there tonight to pick up my Supper Bowl order. Give them a try you’ll love it.

If you like orchata actually even if you dont, RUN to this spot. Im not a big fan of orchata, and my usual go to drink is an expresso martini. I decided to try the orchata martini and giirrrllllllllllll. 10/10 strongly recommend. Delicioouuussssssssssss. Needless to say this has been a go to spot for me. I usually do the carne asada, comes with tortillas beans and yellow rice. I swear when I first had it I thought my mom had a part time job as a chef cooking in the back because it was so good. Bartender always nice and waiters always take of us. Price isn’t bad either.

Partner and I were vacationing in the area and planned to stop by. The service was great and the food was delicious. The calamari tacos were sooo good and everything that we ate tasted fresh especially the guac. We will def be back

Came in for lunch on Sunday and the place was dead. I do not eat a lot of Mexican food but it seemed super authentic. The salsa and chips for the table I could eat all day long. Prices where fair and every plate that hit the table made my mouth water. I got the huavos rancheros and it was very good. I think my favorite part was the black bean “cup” that came with every meal. I would definitely come back

Truly some of the best Mexican food on the North Shore. Fresh, authentic, and not overly Americanized with “queso” slathered everywhere. The birria tacos were so incredibly flavorful. These folks really take pride in their food & service.

Been a few times now. Food has been consistently great! Its a bit $$$, but I think anyone would find it worth it. My favorite is the Burrito Loco. Generous portions and lots of margaritas to choose from. Seriously, give them a try if you’re in the Marblehead area.
