Reviews
We had the pleasure of dining at Amore Italian Restaurant, and every dish exceeded expectations. From the moment we walked in, Gjeva (the chef’s wife and co-owner) welcomed us with warmth and guided us through the menu.
The Caprese salad was fresh and vibrant, the mushroom ravioli rich and delicate, and the mussels in white wine sauce were perfectly balanced with just a hint of red pepper flake. Classics like the lasagna, meatballs, and shrimp linguine were hearty, flavorful, and authentically prepared.
And then dessert—this cannoli was a showstopper! Crisp shell, creamy filling, and chocolate drizzle that made it irresistible.
Altogether, our table enjoyed 11 entrées and several desserts, and not a single dish disappointed. The portions were generous, prices reasonable, and the service truly made us feel like family.
If you’re looking for authentic Italian food with heartfelt hospitality, Amore Italian Restaurant is a must-visit.
It’s definitely the best takeout service around. The food itself is what keeps me coming back. It’s always so fresh and tastes like real, authentic Italian cooking.. not the chain stuff. I’ve tried a ton of their dishes and they are all incredible.
The Lasagna is killer, super cheesy and meaty. The spaghetti sauce is so good I literally want to lick the plate clean.
You HAVE to try the Tiramisu. Best dessert ever. And an absolute must have!
If you want amazing Italian food this is your spot. You can’t beat Amore!
Honest review-
We stopped into this place just driving thru wagoner… found the place via a Google search.
Our waitress, The young girl with glasses was very pleasant And very informative.
The space was nice inside. Deceptive from the outside appearance of the building. Light and bright. Just a good mom and pop atmosphere that we really like in an Italian restaurant.
The food.
Pretty good. We had a few differnt options.
Calamari was a touch chewy but still good. It would be better served with a garlic lemon aoli.vs the marinara.
The fettuccine was good. A little to saucy. But fett is better saucy than dry.
I had the tour of Italy 3… the lasagna was very good. The chicken parm not great. A bit tough. The fettuccine Alfredo was good. Just a little too much sauce.
Really my only complaint was the chicken.
Suggestion: cook the tomatoe marinara sauce a little longer. Very acidic; strong tomato taste. I like a mellow sauce and a touch of sugar too smooth out the acid of the tomatoes.
The bread was great!!
Lastly. A little dinner music
. Jazz or instrumental would have set the atmosphere..
Overall a good place… and decent meal for the area… thanks for dinner
The worst part of the experience was pulling up and seeing one of the staff out front smoking and scruffy looking, I only hope he washed his hands when he went back in.
Amore’s in such a place. The food was great, spot on and the way it should be. Not too complex but “Bang”, this is some italian home cooking. The pasta was cooked right, sauce was very nice. Had a great lunch. Great visit with the owner about the days back in NYC and our italian families. You won’t leave hungry. Ottimo cibo!
