We had the pleasure of dining at Amore Italian Restaurant, and every dish exceeded expectations. From the moment we walked in, Gjeva (the chef’s wife and co-owner) welcomed us with warmth and guided us through the menu.
The Caprese salad was fresh and vibrant, the mushroom ravioli rich and delicate, and the mussels in white wine sauce were perfectly balanced with just a hint of red pepper flake. Classics like the lasagna, meatballs, and shrimp linguine were hearty, flavorful, and authentically prepared.
And then dessert—this cannoli was a showstopper! Crisp shell, creamy filling, and chocolate drizzle that made it irresistible.
Altogether, our table enjoyed 11 entrées and several desserts, and not a single dish disappointed. The portions were generous, prices reasonable, and the service truly made us feel like family.
If you’re looking for authentic Italian food with heartfelt hospitality, Amore Italian Restaurant is a must-visit.

First time trying this restaurant, ordered mozzarella sticks and the lasagna. I’ve ate at alot of Italian places and this place didnt disappoint at all. The sauce in the lasagna was perfectly seasoned and the noodles were cooked exactly as they should be. The mozzarella sticks weren’t over done but weren’t cold either. The staff is very friendly and it has small touches of Italian atmosphere (not over bearing like olive garden). Will definitely come here again and recommend this place to others

Rolls were excellent, the salad was great but I wish they’d have had a house vinaigrette option. I had the veal piccata and my wife had the spinach ravioli. I’d say the piccata was four out of five and the wife said her ravioli was a three, that it could use more cheese in the sauce. Overall this is a great addition to the Wagoner area. We typically have to travel to get decent Italian fare but this place is way better than decent. Also the price was very reasonable.

Seriously, if you haven’t tried Amore Italian yet, you need to.
It’s definitely the best takeout service around. The food itself is what keeps me coming back. It’s always so fresh and tastes like real, authentic Italian cooking.. not the chain stuff. I’ve tried a ton of their dishes and they are all incredible.
The Lasagna is killer, super cheesy and meaty. The spaghetti sauce is so good I literally want to lick the plate clean.
You HAVE to try the Tiramisu. Best dessert ever. And an absolute must have!
If you want amazing Italian food this is your spot. You can’t beat Amore!

The food is way better than the ambiance. Shrimp Picatta was delish and the bread was delish. Tiramisu was amazing. The women’s bathroom though is atrocious. Don’t use it. If they upgraded the lighting from flourescent to warmer lighting, painted the walls with better quality muted colors and added candles to the tables, some plants and served alcohol, this could be an upscale Italian eatery.

A solid 4 Star…
Honest review-
We stopped into this place just driving thru wagoner… found the place via a Google search.
Our waitress, The young girl with glasses was very pleasant And very informative.
The space was nice inside. Deceptive from the outside appearance of the building. Light and bright. Just a good mom and pop atmosphere that we really like in an Italian restaurant.
The food.
Pretty good. We had a few differnt options.
Calamari was a touch chewy but still good. It would be better served with a garlic lemon aoli.vs the marinara.
The fettuccine was good. A little to saucy. But fett is better saucy than dry.
I had the tour of Italy 3… the lasagna was very good. The chicken parm not great. A bit tough. The fettuccine Alfredo was good. Just a little too much sauce.
Really my only complaint was the chicken.
Suggestion: cook the tomatoe marinara sauce a little longer. Very acidic; strong tomato taste. I like a mellow sauce and a touch of sugar too smooth out the acid of the tomatoes.
The bread was great!!
Lastly. A little dinner music
. Jazz or instrumental would have set the atmosphere..
Overall a good place… and decent meal for the area… thanks for dinner

The cheese garlic bread starter left a lot to be desired, the $3 salad with your meal is better than most it had olives, pepperoncinis, red onions, tomatoes and shredded cheese over the salad, I only wish restaurants would leave tomatoes off if they can’t get them fresh they just taste mealy. The rolls are fabulous! The chicken Marsala was so so, it tasted prepackaged to me and with how quickly it came out I am sure it is. I tried the cannoli as the waitress recommended it, I do not, the crust is so hard you can barely cut it off, the drizzle is definitely hersheys and the cream is canned.
The worst part of the experience was pulling up and seeing one of the staff out front smoking and scruffy looking, I only hope he washed his hands when he went back in.

Finally some homemade lasagna!! This place is great! The waitress was very nice and attentive. The roll (kinda like a strombolli roll) was made with handmade dough and was huge. The lasagna was a huge portion and all for a great price. We will be back!!!

My dad, and family are Italian immigrants from back in the day. I grew up in an italian family speaking italian in NY. Ive been to some really good italian restaurants across the country but I find the best are in places you would never think of. When I go check out an italian restaurant I wanna know if there is someone with an italian background in the kitchen.
Amore’s in such a place. The food was great, spot on and the way it should be. Not too complex but “Bang”, this is some italian home cooking. The pasta was cooked right, sauce was very nice. Had a great lunch. Great visit with the owner about the days back in NYC and our italian families. You won’t leave hungry. Ottimo cibo!
