Huge Caesar salad (only one size) and lots of bread. Waitress was new and did well. Food was great. Large portions. No complaints about food whatsoever. Music was a little different for Italian restaurant…more suited for barbecue restaurant than Italian but that’s just me. (Minor)

The food was good, and so was the service. I’m excited to return and try new items! We had Lemon Drop Martinis and calamari to start. Lasagna, veal picatta and chicken marsala for entrees. All delicious! Super happy about a new place to dine in our area!

That being said, the ambiance of the restaurant needs some work. Anything spoken over a whisper feels like you’re yelling because of the lack of music. When the music was finally turned on, it just didn’t fit. We could hear every little noise coming from the kitchen, which was off-putting, honestly. But this is a new restaurant and I think all these little kinks will be worked out. I look forward to returning!

The food was AMAZING!!!!! I agree the ambience needs some tending to, it’s bright and the location of the ‘to go’ items in the dining room looks somewhat cheap. Service was good. Didn’t wait too long and the rolls with oil were a very tasty treat! Olive Garden’s for its no comparison.. it’s Awesome food!!

Alright look, here is the reality of this place: the food was mostly excellent, the fresh rolls are the bomb, and the place is clean.

On the other hand, the big industrial lights kill the ambiance and take away from the mood, no gentle Italian or opera music playing in the background, the wait staff are both overwhelmed and underwhelmed all at once, and their system for informing them of ready entrees is very inefficient. None of those things, however, are the biggest concern. The time it takes from you placing your order to actually receiving your order is astronomically long. I could understand if this were a five-star restaurant where everything is made in-house, prepared fresh, and the atmosphere were better.

Realistically, I’d give this place 5 stars if they could speed up and get their atmosphere on-point, and I certainly will change my review once they polish up.

Again, this is a great joint and could give El Paso a run for their money. The wait time, though, could kill them.

Update: After a little over a month, the food comes out quicker, but the quality is basically the same. They have added some ill-fitting music and those industrial lights are still off-putting. Save your money and go to Olive Garden, you’ll spend the same there for an untouchably superior experience. The best thing they have here is literally the fresh bread. Otherwise, this is very mediocre.

Appetizers- mussels were great! Had ribeye Marsala and angel hair pasta and a fettuccine with shrimp and a tomato based sauce. Both dishes were delicious. Food was hot. Service was great.

There were a ton of spelling mistakes on the Menu to start. Basil was spelled as Basli multiple times. The food was ok. There was burnt sauce in the food we took home. And you can see through the door that goes to the kitchen stacked boxes of pre made Pasta Sauce from a company that I don’t remember. The portion for the Tour of Italy was not worth the $20 spent on it. The Alfredo sauce tasted like nothing but with quite a lot of nutmeg. Over all, I would not recommend but it was not the worst thing in the world.

My wife and I were very excited to see that an Italian restaurant was opening up in our area and we had another Choice besides Mexican.

I can’t begin to tell you how disappointed we were in our experience with this restaurant and the quality of its food.
I had the veal parmesan and I kid you not it was frozen chicken fried steak Patty with red sauce and cheese on top of it.

My wife had the tour of Italy lasagna had maybe one noodle in it. The chicken parmesan was also frozen chicken patty, nothing was fresh made.
I Strongly advise the owner/manager to dine at Vincent’s in Metairie, while I don’t expect them to serve his caliber food I believe this would give them a good example of what they should strive for.

Presentation is a must. I have not eaten at your establishment and I don’t think I will .You do have alot of good reviews but the pictures on your menu really looked like it came from a can.I don’t want to be mean. Good luck with your new restaurant.
