If I could give more stars, I would! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This place has *amazing* food. We had the Reuben with tomato soup and a roast beef sandwich—everything was perfectly balanced, with great flavor and nothing overpowering the meat. You can tell real care goes into the food.

Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying a cannoli, and wow… OMG. One bite took us straight back to New York when we were young. Smooth, creamy, not overly sweet, and the perfect size for sharing. Absolutely delicious and worth every penny.

The staff and owner were incredibly friendly, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is casual with a touch of elegance—very welcoming and comfortable. They also have a great selection of pastries that we’re already planning to come back for.

Added a photo of the cannoli *after* we dug in—we were just too excited to try it!

Update: we went back for breakfast and it was fantastic! Simple menu and absolutely delicious. We had the half order of biscuit and gravy and the spinach artichoke souffle. Flavorful, perfect portion and a great meal. Took home an orange cranberry scone…yummy!

It’s a cute “hole in the wall” type mom and pop place with lots of homemade flavors and baked goods. We ordered the special (meatloaf sandwich – delicious), and the chicken salad sand / soup ( tomato cheese – delicious). Can’t wait to try their breakfast and the high tea time. Will definitely be back.

Amore Bakery truly outdid themselves for our Petals of Positivity Tea Social! The scones were perfectly baked—light, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Each tea sandwich was crafted with care, beautifully presented, and full of fresh flavors that impressed every guest. Their attention to detail, quality, and customer service made the entire experience seamless and delightful.

Our event would not have been the same without their incredible contribution. If you’re looking for baked goods that combine elegance, flavor, and love in every bite, Amore Bakery is the place to go!

Loved this adorable little spot. Wasn’t sure what to expect exactly but we had heard good things. Went in for coffee and a pastry and ended up staying for coffee and breakfast. Hubs had biscuits and gravy, was great. I had their raspberry lemon cinnamon roll which was delicious.
This place has serious nona/ grandma vibes in all the best ways. Little bit of kitchen banter, regulars calling out their orders, hushed drama amongst the quiet moments. The place has a few cases with pastries and desserts and 1 for deli items. They fill the cannolies fresh when you order. Very good, not overly sweet so more authentic. Its decorated with antiques without being cluttered. They have a high tea coming up that im excited to try. Looks like a decadent event the hold.

Really well done food in a little bit of an odd atmosphere. I had the Ruben Sandwich, which was really good. They advertise that they make the corned beef in house, and I could definitely tell the difference. I only wish they had put a little more dressing on the sandwich, but it was very good overall.

I had the potato salad as a side, and was told it was the chef’s mother’s recipe. Well, she did a fantastic job, because that was the best side of potato salad I think I have ever had from a restaurant. I also got a pistachio cannoli to go, and this thing is massive! It is also really tasty with a well balanced ricotta filling.

My only little gripe is that the decor is kind of wonky, but that just isn’t my style I guess. It is also a little tricky to get into the location if you are coming from the west side, but that is not a reason not to go.

I have been in Springfield for 3 years, and I am honestly surprised no one has recommended this place to me yet. I will definitely be back, and you should go too!

Try it. We did today, and we’re glad we did. We selected the homemade Monte Cristo, full homemade biscuits and italian sausage gravy, two ginger molasses cookies, and a yummy raspberry lemon pastry. I also had a salted carmel latte, which was delicious. They have one size coffee, which was plenty. They are ramping up the coffee offerings but have good options (lattes, mocha, house).
We will be trying their lasagna and reuben next! We did take out today, but they have a very nice area for dining in.
