Reviews
Service (5/5): our waitress Rose was lovely and catered to our orders and needs quickly.
Happy hour deals until 6p!
Chips & Guac (3/5): We ordered the mild spice and it def did not taste the slightest spicy. Nothing to write home about Guac.
Carne tacos (4/5): the meat was super tender, juicy, and tasted great!! The taco itself is TINY.
Birirra tacos (5/5): they were more a normal size. It came with a small bowl of consumé. The meat was seasoned well.
Churros (3/5): Not great. A little hard around the edges. Dips were nice but was hoping for a thicker chocolate.
The ambiance was really nice, and both the food and drinks were very good. The cocktails were perfectly balanced with just the right amount of alcohol. We’ll definitely be back!
Service was fast, not overly friendly but fine.
Drinks- classic margarita and espresso martini were great!
Street corn was okay- I wouldn’t get it again.
Chips and salsa not free. Chips very good, salsa was weird, very sour. Did not eat it.
Chicken quesadillas were fine.
So far the meal is meh.
Then tried my wife’s pork butt taco and it was AMAZING!! We both raved about it. Maybe the best thing I’ve eaten at any Mexican food place ever. I don’t know how they have a menu full of nothing special and then knock it out the park on this thing but they did.
Pretty much all high top tables- back pain sufferers beware.
If you’re looking for a place with excellent service, great atmosphere, and tasty food, I highly recommend this restaurant. A special thank-you to Natalia for making our visit even more memorable!
The drinks, however, were not as impressive. My hibiscus margarita was very sweet, and I could barely taste the alcohol.
The downstairs area was quite loud, but the upstairs seating — although very tight — was much more pleasant and comfortable.
The service was a bit disappointing, though it was clear the server was doing her best while managing two floors on her own. There wasn’t much rush when we visited, but it still seemed like the service was having a tough time keeping up.
We ordered a margarita and checked on it a few times, and after three-quarters of our meal we were told it wasn’t available. While we were still waiting, we were also asked if we wanted takeaway boxes, which felt a bit confusing.
It took more than 20–25 minutes to receive the check. I understand she was the only server, and I do sympathize with the situation, but the overall experience could have been smoother.
Overall, the service could be improved
