Amogham, true to its philosophy a Restaurant, every dish tells a story of tradition, flavor, and culinary heritage. The menu takes you through a journey of diverse flavors of India – from the aromatic spices of the north to the fiery curries of the south. The buffet was value for Money. Food was awesome. Stand out items being Ghee Roast Biryani, Kebabs, Panneer Sabji, Punnugulu and Curd Vada. Miss not weekend Buffet.

We ordered shrimp pulao yesterday night and when we opened the container and took a spoonful, we found a thick layer of oil underneath. The pulao is completely drenched with oil and inedible. The rice is so greasy that oil actually oozed out when squeezed. It was very disappointing and we had to throw away the food.

Amazing food and ambience with prompt service. Lakshman gave excellent recommendations, and every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Highly recommend Amogham—especially the pani puri, which was absolutely outstanding! For vegetarian dishes- the gongura paneer biryani is amazing and a must try.

6 panipuris per 1 order for the price we pay was expensive. Guthi vankara kura and rotis were good. Salted Buttermilk was good too. There were no mocktails available at the time. Veg biryani was a surprise. It tasted ok but it was my first seeing tomatoes, curry leaves and green chillies in biryani. Salan as accompaniment was good. However raita was bad.
Bajji muntha kinda pappu was salty. And bajji was barely there as any. However most of the items (all vegetarian) were good all in all.

Our Recent Experience for Non veg Buffet

We went for a non-veg buffet, and overall, the food was delicious, though the variety of items was a bit limited.

Starters:
There were Chicken 65 and Tandoori Chicken — both were really good, especially the Chicken 65, which was perfectly spiced and flavorful.
The Pani puri was also very tasty

Main Course:
The spread included Chicken Biryani, Pachi Mirchi Mutton Biryani, Naan, and Butter Chicken. My husband tried the Paneer Kofta and Paneer Curry.
We skipped the Mutton Biryani as we don’t eat mutton, but the Chicken Biryani was very tasty. The Kofta was good, Paneer Curry and Butter Chicken were okay.

Desserts:
Badam Milk and Kheer were available along with Vada. The Badam Milk was the showstopper — absolutely loved it! The Vada was a bit cold though.

There were also other items like Idli and Lemon Rice, which we didn’t try.

Overall:
The food was tasty, and we were quite happy with the experience. A little more variety would make it perfect, but overall, it’s a good buffet with delicious flavors.

Cons
But there are time when we have waited almost for 25-30 min for Naan,Chicken 65 and Tandoori Chicken
The stalls were empty and no one filled them

We dined in at Amogham Restaurant last weekend and absolutely loved the food! The flavors were truly authentic South Indian.
We ordered the stuffed mirchi bajji (seems to be their specialty), garlic naan (incredibly soft), butter naan, Amogham special chicken curry, and boneless chicken biryani. Every dish was delicious and full of flavor.
Definitely recommend everyone gives this place a try!

Very disappointing and concerning experience.

I found a bone in my mushroom pepper fry, which is unacceptable on its own. What made it worse was the explanation given by the management — they said a spatula broke and that’s how it ended up in the dish. That explanation is honestly even more alarming, as it raises serious safety and hygiene concerns.

I won’t even get into the 28 minutes it took for someone to take our order after we were seated, as that’s a separate issue altogether.

The soya kaju biryani was equally disappointing — the soya chunks were raw, soggy, and undercooked, and the masala tasted raw as well. Overall, the dish was poorly prepared and not enjoyable at all.

This experience has completely shaken my confidence in the food quality and kitchen practices here. I would not recommend this place based on food safety and consistency.

Today I went for buffet and sharing my experience. 1. Idly/wada/mysore bonda/ upma available which might be left over from breakfast menu
2. Mukkala pulusu/dal/sambar/rasam available which are almost same
3. Vegetarian I feel only paneer is available which I ate little but feels full
3. Naans are not hot which made them not to prefer
4. Curd rice and tea taste is not good
5 . Don’t even try pani puri

I don’t feel vegetarian price it’s not worth as for the same cost there are 6 more items for non-vegetarians.

This is my opinion as today it’s like this or my timing is not right.

Pakoda, curry leaf palav and biryani is okay

A nice Indian restaurant in the Pleaston area with good flavors of north n South Indian cuisine. We happened to try their weekend lunch buffet , gentleman at the front desk gave us a seating spot in less than 5 mins. We started with some appetizers; corn, gobi fry, kebab a vada n then moved onto main course items. The food, some of their items were really flavorful , like the chicken biryani, kebab , a few were too oily n flat in taste , but overall it was decent food quality. It’s a non veg / veg buffet supplemented with some idly/vada, Mango Lassi and Live chat counter. A little heads up, the pricing is on a little higher side about 23$ per person. The staff were always on their toes n top notch. The place got super crowded with families and congested , and so was the parking lot, however it’s in a big strip mall with manageable parking spaces. Right around this is a Desi fish/ meat store n Indian cash n carry grocery store which makes it a to go spot for home needs multi tasking. Would recommend this place for a weekend lunch for their good food n service.
