It is considered upscale with a distinguished crowd.
We ordered several plates – the Entraña was the best of all we ordered.
The grilled shrimp seemed it had been insufficiently cooked and tasted watered down.
Wait staff was very courteous and knowledgeable.
Great view of the hotel and ocean.

Beautiful rooftop bar in a beautiful hotel. Had a nice selection of cocktails and beers. Great views of the hotel, the sea and the downtown Panama city skyline. RECOMMEND.

This is a rooftop lounge/bar above the Sofitel hotel. We went there with my wife and her family for drinks and appetizers after an outing in Casco. We had a great experience and enjoyed our time. The cocktails and drinks were great; I had a mojito and my wife and her family had a spritz, which were both great. The appetizers were the pork belly and empanadas (4 count); the pork belly was great with a sauce, and the empanadas were delicious, though small in size. The view and environment was a highlight, offering a great view of the terrace below and the oceanside view. The staff that day were cordial and friendly. Though the price of the food was comparatively high with normal items, you do get in return quality in flavor instead of the usual Sysco foods that seem to glut Panama lately. Overall, a pleasant experience; I recommend you try it out for yourself and especially try the pork belly.

Tuesdays are not a big dining night in Panama, especially the last night of carnival. With a bunch of places closed we headed to the Sofitel hotel for a good meal. We went upstairs to the Ammi and the staff treated us like a king and queen. The bar back / waiter Ameth, was the true star. He put all his energy and creativity into giving us the very best experience. Great burgers salads and drinks! Thank you!

Easily 5 stars. Surprised this spot doesn’t have way more glowing reviews. Amazing views! The ribeye and skirt steak were outstanding, and the mushroom rice on the side was next-level. Every bite just melts in your mouth. Lorena looked after us perfectly, she was fantastic.

This little speakeasy inside Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo is honestly a gem. It’s hidden behind a bookshelf. When I went in with my husband it was completely empty. We were attended to immediately by the server. We had two amazing cocktails created by the bartender. The atmosphere was so cozy. We didn’t want to leave. I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re planning a special evening.

The place is gorgeous!! There are live musicians on occasions and service is great!! Food is a little overpriced and at least the drinks I had were not my favorite but it wasn’t bad. I recommend if you are not on a budget limit and if you just want a place to hang out with friends.

Fun rooftop bar with light bites at the Sofitel. We enjoyed a few drinks on our first night in Panamá City. Empanadas-excellent! Pizza -OK. The was a live salsa band and lots of people up dancing. It would appear every person there knew how to salsa. It was like watching a dance competition. Very enjoyable.
