Had a fantastic lunch here today on our visit to Amityville while we’re visiting NYC.
We had the lunch menu which was very reasonably priced and the food was fantastic. Our waitress, Ashley, was absolutely lovely and made our visit really pleasant.
They have a huge range of interesting beers and ales and the food menu had so many great options.
We would definitely recommend Amity Ales.

A very nice quaint old time American pub. Staff was friendly and the crowd was mellow. We got there early , 5PM. The bar in front was full. The dining area in the rear was not. By 7:30 when we left the place was full. The food was excellent and we were never rushed. Overall great experience!!!

Food has definitely changed. The Jalapeño Poppers were not the same, different sauce and filling. Also the chicken tenders and Buffalo tenders were so rubbery, were not edible. Service was and has always been great. Beer selections are great also.

The service is horrible, for the 2nd time I went to pick up my food, I had to wait unreal time. 2times they told me they were wrapping it. When I asked the manager, she said, oh your ready, went to the bar and handed me my cold burger and fries!! Never, ever again!!

Yum. The fish and chips here are crazy good. The proportion of fish to chips (/fries) is way off, and in a good way. Three giant pieces of crispy beer battered cod with a regular portion of chips.
Their in-house pale ale is a great drink too. Pair this with great service, what’s not to like?
