Had a really good experience here! The buffet was clean, and everything I tried was delicious. I recently had mouth surgery, so I needed something easy to eat, and the roast beef was perfect—super tender and tasty. The red potatoes were also a highlight—creamy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, making it a really pleasant place to grab a meal. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, approachable buffet that doesn’t disappoint.

Brisket and chicken have always been tender, flavorful, and hot. Actually, everything on the buffet never disappoints. Yummy comfort food and delicious desserts, too!

The waitress was so pleasant and checked on us often. Food was very good. Love that they actually had REAL mashed potatoes. The rolls were so good. Great place

Food was quite blah. Delicious chicken. Beef roast fell apart and was tender but horribly dry. No soup on salad bar. For the price should be able to get soup and salad bar.
Stopped for some apple fritters to take home. Not nearly as good as in the past.
Sorry probably won’t go back.

We decided to go there on Thanksgiving and just try something different instead of cooking. First off there were only 2 of us and we waited almost an hour to get in then when were were next in line the went behind us taking people with bigger groups to be seated which was wrong! We are seniors and at the end of our meal we had rolls left over and our pie that we just couldn’t finish. I also had more than half my drink left and didn’t get any refills. We asked for a doggie bag to take our rolls and our home with us but was refused. They also refused a take home cup. The young man was very nice but says they weren’t allowed to give out doggie bags or cups. I understand that people are dishonest but that isn’t everyone and the server should be able to determine if abuse is going on. We had to wrap everything in napkins and then let my drink go to waste. That is poor service and I will never go back again! There’s actually better food at Farmstead and Mrs. Yoders and the Farnstead restaurant with more options. The charge for using your credit card being automatically put on the bill regardless if you pay cash is robbery! If you don’t catch that charge and tell them to take the charge off you are still charged!

Haven’t been here in years . Decided to make the drive and wish we hadn’t. We went with the buffet and a few items were ok .Mashed potatoes taste like instant and chicken was dry . The salad section was good. Would not recommend this place. Gone down hill over the years

This was the least favorite lunch buffet I have eaten in the Amish area. I knew right after I walked in I was going to be in for a let down. I should have left.

The place reminded me of a converted rest home cafeteria. They even have folded tables with table clothes on them.

Chicken was as dry as all get out. Roast was tough. My wife didn’t enjoy as well.

The good:
The tea, rolls, salad, broiled or roasted potato, and beets.

The so-so:
Chicken was the least of my favorites so DRY. wax beans were bland and Luke warm as well as the shrimp. The roast was tough and not hot. Corn was out of a can hard and old tasting. Hostess slow about seating.

$53 dollars later I would not recommend or go back.

The good:
Waitress was very nice.

They greeted us as soon as we came in and sat us right down. It was busy but not too bad. Me and my wife both opted for the buffet. It wasn’t too bad it could have been better. How do you mess up a salad bar it has everything. The chicken was really good, as was the shrimp. The rest of it was just kind of bland, and it had no flavor if I’m being honest. The price was $19.99, which overall isn’t a bad price for this restaurant, but there’s no way we got our money’s worth. I just wasn’t that good. I don’t know that I would go back to this location. But it was spotless. I’ll say that, and the server was extremely friendly and good.

Went here with my family, we all got the buffet option. I like that they give you a choice from ordering something off menu or just doing the buffet. The food was great, fully loaded, and well kept. There isn’t a ton of options on the buffet, proteins were fried chicken, some beef roast, fried shrip and marinated chicken. It was simply comfort food done right. Our server was extremely nice and very attentive, never had to ask for a refill she was on it. Everyone that worked there seemed nice and welcoming. I think it’s a great place for families and we are looking forward to going back.

Well you’d think an Amish restaurant and bakery would be pretty good. Well not so much. 4pm on a Thursday and everything appears to have sat out since yesterday. Meatballs were sticky leathery mess. Salad was my saving grace and it was bad. Like litterally a day or two from being off. The tomatoes on the salad bar were barley hanging on by there skin more like a rotten jello. I tried a Italian pasta salad that was both under cooked noodle and rotten tomatoes….how does that work if made all at the same time. So yeah left hungry and disgusted. Went to the bakery….wow was that underwhelming. Everything we got at the bakery once home we found out taste like last week’s stuff. So disappointing, I won’t be back to this place not a value or novelty was shown to me to justify the price and drive
