Dining at Amira’s Kitchen was far more than a meal — it was a return to memory.
From the first bite, I was transported to my childhood, to the women in my family preparing Middle Eastern meals by hand, weaving stories into the food, infusing each dish with care, devotion, and love. There is a certain energy that lives in food when it is made this way — you can taste it, you can feel it. That is exactly what I experienced here.
The cuisine is beyond delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented, deeply flavorful, and clearly prepared with intention. The environment feels warm and welcoming — you don’t just eat there, you’re received.
Our server, Yaman, was hands down the best I have ever encountered in all my years of dining out. Attentive, kind, intuitive, and genuinely invested in our experience — he elevated the entire evening.
Connecting with Amira and her husband, the chef, at the end of our visit made it even more special. They are approachable, gracious, and clearly pouring their hearts into this space.
They also have a beautiful back room available for banquets and gatherings, which I will absolutely keep in mind for future events.
I’ve been craving the food ever since I left — and I will most definitely be returning.

In the span of 3 days, I had ordered 4 times- 2 for takeout and 2 for dine-in. Each visit was great, but the dine-in was the best since I got to enjoy the Turkish coffee (the best one yet). I can see why people would think this place is not as inviting as other places, but I’m here for the food and the service. I ordered a lot of lamb, they were all cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed the basmati rice. The tea was very good. The mini manakeesh was also very good. Baba ganouj and lentil soup were very tasty! Service was great. I do not know her name, but I know she is from Jordan. I loved her energy! As for the owners, Amira and the cook, they were also great. Attentive and very courteous.

Almost left after parking because it’s not very inviting but I wanted to give it a chance. The inside also was not very inviting and the ethnic music was played through a very poor sound system. BUT THE FOOD MADE UP FOR ALL OF IT. The food was freshly made, hot and sooooo tasty. I can’t say enough good things about it. I hope they work to make it more inviting because it is worth it!

Amazing food! I have had the rotisserie chicken and lamb several times and it’s always delicious. I will be coming back again to keep experiencing something I haven’t ordered yet!

After reading several reviews of Amira’s Kitchen we decided to drive 54 miles for a Eid meal with some friends.
We ordered the Mediterranean Lamb Plate, Half Rotisserie Chicken with Rice and Hummus and x2 Hummus Chicken Plates.
It wasn’t too long before the food was served. Everyone enjoyed their meals thoroughly. However I had an issue with my Mediterranean Lamb. It was as tough as old boots. Literally impossible to cut and extremely chewy. I tried really hard to enjoy the lamb as it was beautifully spiced and would have been delicious if it was cooked right.
I actually had to bring it to someone’s attention being inedible and for $27 I couldn’t ignore it.
The staff were wonderful and asked if I’d like a fresh plate or a refund. I opted for the refund as it was extremely busy. We later found out that they were 4 staff members down.
I am definitely not knocking this family run business and will gladly go back. If the lamb is cooked to perfection I will retract my review.
However other diners have also mentioned the lamb being extremely tough in their reviews so it seems to be an ongoing issue.

It’s really hard to not order everything off their menu. We started with the Dawali/Warak Enab and Sambosa, followed by Amira’s Mixed Grill with garlic sauce. Absolutely delicious!! Can’t wait to go back and try more appetizers and traditional plates!

This Middle Eastern restaurant truly impressed us. The rotisserie chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy on the inside with a deliciously crispy outer layer. The basmati rice was soft, fragrant, and full of flavor. I also got to try their mint lemonade, and it was absolutely divine and so refreshing!
The food felt authentic and flavorful, with very generous portions. The service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They were mindful of our needs, offered gluten-free options, and the owner was incredibly kind. Food was amazing and Amira is a very warm host! The lentils, grilled lamb, beef kefta and grilled chicken are all great. One “Traditional Plate” order is huge, can definitely feed 2-3 people.
