Only go here if you’re looking for a stomachache. We stopped against our better judgement due to being on the road for hours, being hungry and exhausted. Ants on the table, refried beans were hard, dry and inedible, ground beef had a gravy, maybe made with flour? It had no flavor and looked like dog food. The hot sauce had a consistency of thick applesauce. The rice was salty and hard. They charged per item rather than plates that we ordered. The waitresses boyfriends were hanging around in the front lobby and parking lots. When we went to pay, employees were cussing and ignored us for a few minutes then decided to check us out. They charge for debit/credit card usage. We left 75% of our food uneaten and still got sick to our stomachs.

Was initially a good restaurant experience with great service and clean floors and tables. It went down hill when i ordered my food. I got the lunch quesadillas and afyer waiting around 30 min they brought me my food in a to-go even though i had ordered it dine in. My quesadillas were HORRIFIC they where haphazardly thrown into the to-go box and were all falling apart. The meat had to be at least A DAY OLD it was rubberized amd disgusting. After eating my stomach already began hurting horribly and i couldn’t even finish my food. Will not be eating here ever again.

We traveled to Franklin, TX for my son’s baseball tournament and discovered… well, there’s not much to choose from in Franklin. One of the choices was Amigos y Familia and it was pretty decent for what it was.
The service was good, the portions were good, and the place is clean. The chicken taco chicken was dry, but the steak was good.
Overall, this place looks like a family spot for the people of Franklin. It did okay for us.

I ate a chicken fajita queso taco with a sausages egg and cheese with fresh eggs. The tacos was so good and the cook who made it was awesome. The service was excellent in every way

We enjoyed a late lunch with my father-in-law. The only issue was the chips were stale, but other than that everything else was good(food & service). You also have to pay a fee for using your credit card at this establishment. We will definitely be back when we come out this way.

The tea is the best thing on the menu. The parking lot is always full when you drive by, so we thought we would try it out. BIG Mistake!
Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Felt like I was trying to order Mexican food in another state. Save your hard earned money.

After being out of state for over a week, had a desire for some local Tex-Med and boy did we hit a winner. Amigos Y Familia was just what I wanted (dare I say needed). Great rich salsa and chips, friendly service, instant seating despite having a baseball team and family celebrating a game. My Amigos y Familia platter was a mountain of mixed meat and veggies including, shrimp, beef and chicken. Great homemade flour tortilla’s. This mid afternoon lunch was enough to power me straight back to Pipe Creek and the remain 2 hour drive.

This Amigos is SO MUCH better then the Hearne one!
I know they have the same Menu, but the Food taste better here so I assume it is the Line Cook. Even something as simple as when I order the Hamburger my Fries are cooked better here.
Then the Manager here is ALWAYS busting his butt to help the Servers keep us Customers satisfied.
Pretty much Guaranteed when you come in he or one of the Servers will greet you and are all so friendly, so I guess I like the Environment too.

Surprisingly one of the Best things on the Menu is their Huge Hamburger, I see a lot of people Order it.
My favorite though is the “Amigos Burrito” I’m not a Big Mexican Food or Burrito Fan but I like this one! The New “El Grande Burrito” is pretty Good too, but it is apply named and Huge!
My wife loves the “Mushroom Spinach Quesadillas”
I tried the “Barbacoa Torta” once too and it was decent. And I like the Breakfast plates, fried Potatoes with Refried Beans and Tortillas are so good together, and I’ve always liked Huevos with Chorizo. The only thing I don’t care much for honestly is their Salsa.

We have had the fish tacos before, so when we passed through Franklin, we had to stop. They are perfect, grilled catfish, Pico and avocado. We were once again loving this dish! We were there late afternoon and place was nearly empty, so service was good. We will be backa
