Our stop here was not preplanned – we wanted something different than our regular haunts and this seemed like a good choice. It was!
The food was really good, the service speedy and friendly, and my husband claims this is his new favorite Mexican restaurant due to the atmosphere. I was impressed with the prices.
We don’t eat out often but we’ll be back and encouraging all our taco loving friends to check them out in the meantime.

Had lunch and it was great! I ordered the pollo fundido and it was sooo good — full of flavor. The prices are very reasonable, the place is clean, and the atmosphere is really nice. Service was friendly and quick too. Definitely recommend!

Ever try and eat water with tortilla chips. Thats what the salsa was like. So I asked for salsa that wasn’t watered down. And they try and tell me that’s all they have. And sent some dog feed tasting stuff with it. Not good at all.
The food wasn’t even good. They are always good. But I’ll never be back.

It was absolutely amazing we sat on the patio and had a feast it was beautifully made and we also got the Jumbo Marg brought out a bucket of ice made me and my best friend feel special amazing service So worth it and the service was out standing I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !!! (Wish I could post the pictures I took)

The best Mexican restaurant in Topeka. Always good service and always a fantastic meal. Take a look at the chilaquiles and tacos al pastor. They were mouth watering and delicious. Definitely worth the trip.

Amigos has the best fajitas in town! I order the fajitas Hawaiian and it does not disappoint. If you want great Mexican food and great service this place is a must!

The service was pretty good. The steak fries had pico on it which was good but the portion was probably half what you get at El Mez and hardly any steak on top. The chimichanga was okay. They apparently charge you for using a card and everything seemed overpriced. The meal was not worth over $40. We probably won’t be going here again. El Mez is the better option overall.
