First time eating here. Child and salsa were very good. I had a mango margarita and all I needed was one! Had the super burrito with carne asada and it was massive! They do not skimp on the meat at all. The food was very good. Will definitely go back when I’m in town.

Back at it again this spot is a classic hole-in-the-wall–it may look a bit dated, but that’s probably how they keep the prices so low. Came here for lunch with some coworkers and ordered the two-item combo with a crispy beef taco and chicken enchilada.
The taco was perfectly crunchy, and the beef was juicy and flavorful. The enchilada hit the spot too the sauce was solid.
What really stood out was the beans and rice, surprisingly fire. Plus, you get free chips and salsa, which is always a win.
Definitely a solid spot for a quick, affordable lunch in Pasadena.

We were staying in town for an event at the Rose Bowl and wanted some Mexican food. This place popped up, and had good reviews. We overall great experience. Service was good, and the food was very tasty and fresh. Priced very reasonable. Definitely recommend.

Amigos is our go-to Mexican takeout restaurant in Pasadena. If my husband likes the beans and rice, it’s a winner, and Amigos definitely delivers. We especially enjoy their crispy beef tacos! That’s our favorite. Their soups are also very good. I especially love when spring and summer roll around for their fish ceviche, one of my favorites, paired with a Jamaica. When my son is in town, he always requests to go there, which says a lot. The staff is always smiling and friendly. If you’re looking for a great Mexican restaurant, look no further. Enjoy!

My husband and I have been coming here for years and the food is delicious. Their soups are the best in town, and so fresh. Chips and salsa – very good. The restaurant is decent-sized. It’s not a fancy high-end restaurant as far as decor goes, but it’s always clean and very acceptable as a family restaurant to meet up with a friend, family, etc. Parking in back, but on the smaller size. Can usually find street parking on side street. Staff has always been friendly, pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend.

The staff is amazing, kind and accommodating. The food was delicious I haven’t had a Mexican pizza in years but when I tell this one was terrific!! The flautas were so delicious and their guacamole I can’t say enough of how delicious the food was and their guacamole authenticity. And my husband raved about the drinks. Do yourself a favor and visit you won’t be disappointed.

This is my 3rd time to this place thanks to my wife. She’s from Pasadena and says that this place used to be one of the it restaurants. The vibe is cool because it’s mostly local people. The atmosphere is dated but cool. The service is fast and the food comes out quickly also. One thing about this place is that the drinks are strong and well worth the price. This time we ordered Mexican pizzas, ceviche, chicken tortilla soup, and an a la carte chicken taco. The food was cool. It was hot. And for the price, everything is cool. I would go back again. I would definitely recommend that you go and try it for yourself.

It may not look like much from the outside, but do not sleep on this place, especially for lunch. The lunch special burrito was absolutely gargantuan, comes with rice, beans, sour cream, guac, chips, and salsa, all for just $12.50 . Greatest value for Mexican food ever, a Chipotle meal would be around the same price if not more but does not come anywhere near this burrito. It took all of my strength and willpower to finish it.
