This place was awesome! The staff was very friendly and checked up on us occasionally and the food was amazing by far the best shrimp burrito I have ever had compared to other Mexican restaurants and the portion Size was very fulfilling hands-down ❤️

Oh!!! You have to stop at this gem! I ordered a Burrito de la casa, and they were generous with all the meats and the shrimp in this beautiful burrito! My husband loves spicy with flavor, and that is exactly what he got. Usually, he has to ask for added grilled jalapeños to give him the heat he desires but not here! The food was amazing and we had no complaints at all! If you’re looking for authentic Mexican with fantastic flavor, then look no further!

While the interior is a tad bit dated and the booth seats are in need of a re-spring, the food and service more than make up for it. The made in-house salsa was spot on and my chili rellenos were great. The dining area and restroom were clean, the background music was at a good level. Next time we’re in the area, we will eat there again.

Excelente! The food is authentic Mexican. Quesabarria, shrimp tacos and Mexican quesadilla are exceptional. Chunky guacamole is so good, and super fresh. I’d love to see them work on the decor a bit, and get their liquor license so they can serve margaritas!

“To legit, to quit”. This is traditional , every other place, ( manistee,ludington,or benzie) 40 miles from this is just a tex Mexican knock off. It’s family owned, new design on an old resteraunt favorite, and has actual legit food items you’d find in south Texas or sw Arizona. There’s no fusion about it, and plenty of flavor and juicy slow cooked meat in every bite. Spice is mild to hot depending on how you like it. The service is great, wait is little to non ever. Do not pass this place up!!!!

The ordinary light blue building is easy to pass by. BUT don’t pass this place up! Amazing, high quality, authentic Mexican with every bite. For lunch, we ordered the fish tacos, vegetarian burrito and spicy burrito. Each was absolutely delicious — my vegetarian son said it was the best Mexican food he’d ever eaten. There’s a deck (with umbrellas) in back that provides a really nice Portage Lake view that was wonderful. In fact, our dog gave the back patio a resounding 4 paws up! Our server was lovely.
