This place has always been amazing. Today was a different story. A young girl with long straight brown hair, who claimed to be a manager, has HORRIBLE customer service skills. I waited over an hour on my call in order. And then she said it was my fault that the wrong food was given to me. I know what I ordered. I had two orders.I was given one order, but it was incorrect. It had three entrées. Two of the three were correct and the third one was wrong. They went to remake the wrong entrée and by the time I got it back, the other two were cold. And then they gave me the second order. Then she took the food from me and ask if I wanted it to be reheated on the grill. Yes reheated on the grill!! It was already well done to begin with. If a customer has two separate orders, why can the food not be given to them all at the same time? That is UNACCEPTABLE to take food back from the customer and reheat it on the grill!

Cautionary review about the “fish” tacos. First, let me say the rest of my party seemed to really enjoy their meals. I, however, got the so called fish tacos and they had scant fish in them. I was expecting discernable filets of fish, but got chopped up fish mixed with other unknown ingredients. Did not taste like fish tacos I’ve had in past. I would not get them again. Also, our service was so slow, we had to wave down the chip lady to bring us chips!! And we were one of maybe 5 tables in the joint. We wanted to like this place, but sadly we will not be back.

I was so impressed by the service and food quality here! Both times I have been the servers have been friendly and happily discussed the dishes with us. The food is excellent, some of the best Mexican cuisine I have had in a while. It can be a little loud at night, but that’s only because it’s a smaller space. Also, very reasonably priced!!

The food was solid for what it is. It came out rather quickly, which was nice. But that’s where the good stopped this evening.
First, our waitress mistakenly gave us a small side of queso, rather than the full sized appetizer we ordered. This is totally not a big deal, but when I asked her for the full sized queso we ordered she questioned if I ordered the side or not. I said, no, we did indeed order the full sized queso. She then bypassed me and asked my significant other if she ordered the side or not. I found this extraordinary unnecessary as this is not that big of a deal and it is totally silly for someone to lie about such a thing.
Then, we witnessed an employee (who didn’t seem to be serving tables, so I can only assume he may have been a manager) take a shot of alcohol with what seemed to be a bar regular. As a former server, I know that this is not just a “no no” under the rules of the ABC board, but it is severely illegal to the point of fine and even license revocation for the individual and the establishment.
After consuming this shot of alcohol, this employee proceeded to speak loudly with this bar guest about experiences in which he vomited from alcohol consumption. We were actively eating our food and we heard this loud conversation less than 10 feet away from us.
I am severely disappointed in our experience, and I felt as if the restaurant had no supervision and was being run by inexperienced teenagers.
I like this spot and that is why I am writing a review. If issues are not brought to light and dealt with, they will likely worsen and I don’t want that to happen.

Good food, but definitely take a sweater or jacket. My sister is usually hot natured, but she was freezing. We mentioned it, but nothing changed. We shivered through the whole meal.

First time stopping by and it was right at 11 am. I was disappointed in the food as the rice, while overly plentiful, was extremely dry as was the ground beef in my burrito. Service was spot on. They give a small discount for paying cash. I think I would give them another chance. Plenty of free parking.
