I’ve been coming to Amigos de Acapulco in Corning ever since they opened, and they’ve never disappointed. The food is always great—authentic flavors that really hit the spot every time. Prices are still very reasonable, especially compared to other spots around town.
They’ve got a small area to sit down and enjoy your meal, which is perfect when you’re not in a rush. But if you are, they offer order-ahead options too, which makes things super convenient. Solid spot all around—definitely one of my go-to places!

Cash only truck stop. Best burritos on I-5. I order the Pastors burrito which was highly recommended by a friend of mine accompanied with a pineapple Jarritos; yummy. The two bilingual working ladies are so kind. They made sure we got exactly what we wanted to eat. The parking lot is a bit limited so slow down when touching the gravel lot as some of the rocks have been known to fly.

I ordered a burrito de pastor, and it was the worst burrito I’ve ever eaten. The service left a lot to be desired, as they took several minutes to acknowledge and take my order. The ladies were nice, but that’s it.

I’ve been coming here more than once, the food is very tasty, I really like it here, the food is also affordable, and the staff is very friendly. Definitely stop by, you won’t regret it. Best of luck to everyone!

I ordered two carne asada tacos, two pastor tacos y two chicken tacos, all spicy.
They were fairly quick to get my order out, with just two people ahead of me.
The tacos were not greasy at all. They had good flavor and a good amount of meat per taco each taco. Slightly browned corn tortillas. Yum!
I was sad to see that they use the same sauce on all of my different tacos though and they were covered in a TON of cilantro.
Asked for limes y jalapeños when picking up my food and they happily gave them to me at no extra charge.
The location is an interesting spot. It’s got a big rig parking lot right across the street so lots of truckers coming and going.
Seems to be a very popular stop.
Will try again in the future when my fave truck is not open.
