So this is the second time this has happened where we’ve ordered a large chips and salsa and got half a bag of stale chips. Quite literally a half bag. Opened it when we got home and this is exactly what it looked like. The food is good, but for the price we pay for the amount we get is ridiculous, and very inconsistent. The last time our order was incorrect and the salsa you could tell had half dumped out and the chips just like this picture only had half in there. Incredibly frustrating, and wish they would get it together, and actually be consistent with good service and food.

Went tonight and food was great again. Service was seriously lacking. Or should I say non existent. Waitress brought drinks, finally brought food then proceeded to disappear. Never checked on us again. Had to go ask for to go boxes and for the check. After waiting a bit had to go ask for boxes and the check again. Food was 5 stars again but the see service wasn’t even a 1 star. Hope the waitress gets her act together

I eat here often. I love their salsa. This time I ordered pick up from door dash. There isn’t even an option to order chips and salsa. I ordered steak nachos and chips and queso. I called the store to request an order of chips and salsa, the employee told me my order would come with it. Lore and behold I got home, no salsa. So disappointed. What’s nachos without salsa?

Good Amera-Mexican. They offer traditional dishes and some more Authentic dishes, which I prefer. Our waitress was the bomb. She was attentive and sweet.
I had the birra burrito. It’s massive! Picture Sunday beef roat in a wrap. Delicious!
Salsa is pureed but well seasoned.
Cheese dip… meh. Needs some jalapeños. Not horrible, but plain.

I ordered my meal with no iceberg lettuce due to a severe allergy, it came with lettuce had to send it back, had to go get our silverware ourselves, asked twice for lemon, my daughter’s food had a hair in it. The chips and salsa were great though. I think it’s safe to say i will not be back.

I really like Amigo’s and Beer… I have been here several times and the service has been good, the food delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I had the Mi Fajita which is steak and shrimp – I really enjoyed them ( the perfect choice) the chips and salsa were good – I like their chunky salsa. This is a good place for a lunch or casual dinner

All in all, it’s a good spot for Mexican (Jalisco) food. Good Margaritas and the chips come in a bucket with salsa. (There is a spicier salsa, but you have to ask)
The food is definitely some of the better Mexican food I’ve found in East Tennessee.
Atmosphere has a bar / cantina feel, and our server was polite.
I’ll be back for sure.

I don’t typically order wings at a Mexican Restaurant, but these slap harder than my momma! I also love their burrito San Jose, their chirozo is great. Some other honorable mentions are their caso fandito, large margs, and chimichangas!
