Went to eat with my son last night. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our waiter came over within a minute to take our drink order. He seemed to be a little off but nothing alarming.
As we’re looking at the menu I hear someone coughing and hacking, that’s when I noticed it was our waiter. When he would go to people’s tables he would barely speak but as soon as he walked away he was coughing so hard. Never once covered his mouth or washed his hands. When he came over to the table he appeared to be sweating and was trying not to cough.
Our food came right out but it was all I could do to eat. I don’t think I ate half of it and my son had one of his three tacos. My son wanted another Sprite and I told him no because I was afraid the waiter was gonna get us sick. I was sick to my stomach from watching him, cough and hack and handle everyone’s food.
Our food was OK. Not a fan of the taco meat as it seems like it is canned beef and my refried beans looked like it was squeezed out of a tube. The pollo picoso was just okay.
We will not be going back.

So upset with our first time visit.. The waitress was not very kind, Didn’t take any action to my concern of the food toppings all being brown. (I finally was able to mention it 20 mins after the food was placed down).
She said she can’t do anything about it, and to talk to the manager. I was visiting with my toddler on my own, which is hard enough to do as it is. The waitress seemed very irritable that I said something about the guacamole and toppings being brown. I hate complaining, I love supporting small restaurants and businesses, but I’m here to buy food that should be fresh, and it actually LOOKED old.
I was very kind when I addressed it too, it’s nerve wrecking to complain..
I told her it’s not her fault, of course, and I’m just letting her know that it didn’t look fresh.
She probably thought I was trying to get a discount, and I was not. I paid full price and tipped, regardless of her rudeness. I was hoping she would just go ask for some fresh toppings. She did not care at all about the quality or my concern. She smirked and shrugged at the complaint and I felt very uncomfortable with the whole experience. My photo is our to-go order with the same toppings that were on my in store order. I ordered the to-go before my food arrived at the table. So I didn’t know it’d look like this. I even opened this in front of her, and she did not care.

I went during happy hour. Happy hour beer price was almost $6 for a mug of beer. The tacos were horrible. They tasted freezer burnt. Like it was frozen food they heated in the microwave. The salsam was like ketchup with hot sauce and the pico wasnt fresh. The Jalapeño in the pico looke liked the canned crap, not fresh cut crisp Jalapeño.

We’ve been here several times a lot lately. We used to go here more than we do. This place has good food, good prices and the service is very good compared to other places. The people understand what you’re saying and can substitute for whatever you want. It’s no wonder this place is packed out almost all the time. I recommend the streak quesadilla, nachos, and tacos as the best.

This was my first time going to this place It’s huge. My server’s name was sammy and I asked To just surprise me and bring me something spicy and he didn’t disappoint. He brought me some salsa the heat mixed up himself and it was amazing. And then he brought me a dish called pollo picoso. The food was amazing the service was fast and friendly. I’ve been to many restaurants if you’ll look at my reviews you can see that hands down. I think this was one of the biggest ones I’ve been to. The only one thing I didn’t like was the. Florescent lighting? I don’t find florescent lighting to be very mood setting other than that great place.

Service was fast, food was good. I went there for happy hour, there is a sign on the table showing Pacifico beer and advertising 32 oz draft for $5.99. I was charged over $7 per beer. They told me the price of $5.99 is only for domestic beer. I suggest you either honor the advertised price or replace your signs.
