The Soggy Tacos are THE BOMB! I loved them so much! Thankful to our server for her recommendation. I meant to get her name but we had to leave pretty quickly after paying. Long blonde hair with glasses. She was a great server. The rice here has the best flavor of any rice I’ve tasted at a restaurant! It was delicious on its own and didn’t need to be doused with salsa or eaten with refried beans, which, by the way, were equally delicious!

Very pleased with our first trip to Amigo’s in Jonesborough. We went for lunch after church on Sunday. There were plenty of people inside but we still got seated right away. Everything came out promptly and hot. My husband had the Texas fajitas and I had the Carnitas traditional tacos. The food was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. Service was outstanding, our drinks never reached the bottom. Prices were fair, plenty of parking, clean and comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely go again.

Great place to eat if you want to quickly get in and out “dine in.” The service was great, couldn’t ask for such a timely serviced dinner. I got the Traditional steak taco platter along with some chips and queso and the banana dessert. The tacos were really good, the only thing I’d complain about is that they didn’t double wrap the tacos even though the bottom was falling out. The queso on the other hand was super liquidy. The queso wouldn’t even stay on the chip. The banana dessert was great, no complaints there. Service was great as well, very attentive and sweet. 4.5/5

Great Mexican restaurant in Jonesborough!
Nice, warm ambiance upon entering. Dark woods and lots of wood booths.
We had been greeted and had our drinks and chips and salsa on the table before we even had our coats off!
Super service, fast friendly and efficient.
Good variety of menu options. Very flavorful.
Burrito Bueno-whole wheat tortilla ( steak)
Lunch #6-tostada and enchilada+ beans and rice
Didnt actually realize the tostada was on the plate when it came to the table. It was covered with lettuce and toppings, which I initially mistook for a salad. Was a bit soggy as well.
Would certainly return and try different items.

I had not been to this location in nearly a decade. Decided to have the family give it a go. Long story short, I’m inclined to stick with another location when I visit Amigo’s.
Some of the plates arrived cold, typically at Mexican restaurants you’re better off not touching the plates. Worse yet, my parent’s food was not hot at all.
My lunch #7 plate was nothing like the quality I expected. The photo shows the dish as it arrived to me: two pieces of pineapple. Barely any sour cream.
Finally, we usually receive decent portions and have to take home leftovers. Our party of 9 managed to bring home less than one to-go box! That’s 1 box in total.
Service was good. Parking is plentiful. Drinks were kept filled.

We’ve been here so often Juanita considers special guests. It could also be that she loves my granddaughter Gracie. We’ve had at least half of the entire menu; still haven’t had a bad meal. That’s why we continue to come back. Especially when Gracie is wheelchair bown.

Very first time eating here. I got the lunch Texas fajitas and my wife had traditional tacos……. I am a 300lb eating machine and I was absolutely stuffed when I left! Food was fresh, and plentiful. Our server made sure we didn’t go without, give Amigo Mexican restaurant a try, you will definitely leave satisfied.

The food was very bland. The burrito grande was mainly all onions. The quesadilla was extremely dry and flavorless. Service took a while even though they weren’t that busy. It wasn’t terrible but likely won’t be back.
