Mehn!! The food was amazing! They pack the plate! My wife said the owner gave her free drinks because she had to wait longer for the food! However trust me it’s worth the wait! I would say call in for the orders vs DoorDash online orders. I’m from the Caribbean and trust me all that sauce on the rice is amazing!! lol

Every single bite of every single dish watered my mouth but the egusi, okra soup, oxtails lamb, jolof rice nothing and I mean nothing was bad I have lived in Houston, been engaged to a igbo Nigerian man, and have a complete obsession. Looks small push don’t pull, and may be empty but don’t determine NOTHING had a real conversation got a recommendation happy I chose all at this point best 90$ I ever spent food lasted me for days and wish it would’ve lasted more. A MUST HAVE!

This food was delicious! We had the jerk chicken and the fish with plantains. Overall everything was beautiful cooked with tangy spicy delicious flavors. The portions were large and worth the more expensive prices. The only reason we did not give 5 stars is because we waited over an hour and a half for the food however the sever did offer us a free drink for the long wait.

I got the oxtail and jollof rice and it was absolutely amazing! There was a bit of a wait, but it’s totally worth it! The meat was tender and fell right off the bone, and everything was perfectly seasoned. The workers are the sweetest, and the atmosphere overall was great. I’ll definitely stop by again! ❤️‍

I’ve been here 2x and not 100% sure if it’s my last time but they gotta do better because EVERY SINGLE TIME I COME HERE I HAVE TO WAIT AN HOUR+ for my food. I called before I came to place the order and was told the food is already ready and good to go. It’s freaking ridiculous. Idk how they claim oh it’s not done yet when I get here and oh it’ll be ready in 5 minutes. Check back, it’s still not ready. 10-15 minutes and stilllllllllll DOES NOT READY!!! Why lie? The food is good but DAMN!

I wanted to like this place, but it’s not as good as people led me to believe with the reviews. I ordered oxtail, cabbage, peas and rice, through Grubhub, but I received few oxtails and tons of UNDERcooked seasoned jasmine rice with a couple of OVERcooked carrots.. The oxtails were good, but overall was not worth the cost since they gave so little , the majority of the plate was under cooked rice. Horrible.

Amazing! Egusi soup and fufu. Very generous portion and worth the price! Super tasty and pretty damn spicy. You don’t need to be African to try this!I am Indian and it tastes similar to our food but better!

10/10 recommend!

(I know you classically use your hands to grab some fufu and scoop the egusi soup but I’m driving and can’t get my hands dirty so I used the spoon they gave me!)

Never had food like this before, but Juan did an amazing job with his cooking. I had got the lamb, rice, along with onions on top. Really blew me away and was piping hot. Great portion size. Spent roughly $25 which tbh was worth the money for the taste and size that I got. Great job guys
