The food is amazing! We ordered 3 appetizers, and each one was so delicious. I must say the meatballs are the best meatballs I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant. I ordered the Penne Ala Vodka. It was beautiful!! The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were absolutely delicious. My husband got a pizza. He said Dave Portnoy would give it an 8.5 lol! There was no grease at all, and the crust was crispy and not limp. I have to say…if you’ve never been here, you need to make it a priority to go. You will not regret it!❤️

The queso and garlic bread was absolutely delicious . They have a good variety of pizza or you can make your own…but the make your own is pretty expensive if you choose to do an all meat style pizza. They need to add one to the menu. We’d go back more often if they did. Very limited seating as well so expect to wait during dinner or do take out.

Went to have supper with some friends. This was our first time here and we were all very impressed. Great food, great service and a nice atmosphere. Our waitress Heather was great. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely go back sometime soon.

Oh Mama the pizza at Amicis in Suffolk is so tasty! We visited their Village Market location recently and enjoyed every bite. We had a cheese pizza with added basil, and “The All In” with pepperoni, Italian sausage, green & red peppers, onions, olives, mushrooms and mozzarella. The homemade sauce was so fresh and flavorful we ordered even more on the side. Service was great and the place is cozy and homey. ❤️
Amicis has a second location in downtown Suffolk that we may need to try soon as well. If they bottled that tomato sauce, we’d buy several. Yum!!!

Ohhhh, my gosh! First of all, the customer service was AMAZING! I’m brand new to gluten-free due to a medical diagnosis, so I’m not that knowledgeable on all of the things yet. From the server to the cook staff, (who actually came out to our table to explain things!! What? ♡) made sure I knew about their gluten-free pizza and pasta options. At first, I was a little embarrassed to have three people at our table explaining all the things. (I don’t like to be the center of attention). But then, I realized, these folks actually CARE about their customers and just want the best experience they can offer!!
Now, onto the food! My husband ordered steak frites. ($39 for a massive plate of food). He said it was amazing. I don’t think he left a single spot on his plate. It came with shoestring fries which they make fresh, on site. He asked for ketchup for the fries before the meal came out but didn’t even use it. He said the fries were amazing and didn’t need any ketchup.
I went with the gluten-free, cauliflower pizza option called “All In”. ($20) It was excellent. I honestly thought it was just a regular thin-crist pizza with all the fixings. It was fresh and flavorful!

I would never order pizza from here again. The crust was like cardboard. My fig pizza lacked goat cheese and arugula. Our 2 pizzas were over $50. A frozen pizza California pizza kitchen is far superior to this pizza and is way cheaper. We’re so disappointed.

Do not let the small handful of bad reviews make you judge this place without you trying it for yourself. It is a small new restaurant but it is definitely worth it, everyone’s food was amazing. Definitely fresh and very well cooked, seasoned food. I’d say with confidence it one of the best places around just have patience because it is small. Food ordered was the iron skillet steak, shrimp & polenta, Alfredo with steak, and the shrimp scampi. Their homemade bread is great as well

Stopped here on my way back home to Norfolk, Heard about Amici’s on the radio all day, I was ready to head to downtown Suffolk but there’s one located on the north side, this was a great stop to grab some delicious pizza. The In & Out is so tasty ( Cheeseburger pizza )

Such a welcome addition to North Suffolk! This was the first time we were able to dine outside and it did not disappoint. I always get pizza, which is delicious, but others at the table had Lasagna and it looked great too. Usually very busy and few tables but worth the wait.

Small restaurant, can get busy quickly, had to wait about 30 minutes for seating but decided to order to go instead of waiting. Great staff and service! One suggestion would be to have plastic wear for to go orders!
