If you think you don’t like sushi, then you haven’t eaten at the likes of Ami Sushi before! Even if you have, they serve BBQ food as well! It was my first time eating there and the food was simply delectable. The chef was so kind and well-mannered too, as were the waitress and rest of staff. Don’t even get me started on the udon! I had never had it and now I think I want to swim in it. If I could give them six stars, I would. Highly, highly recommend if you are thinking of trying or want a fresh and delicious new place to eat. I also tried my first Japanese beer and it was delicious! There is no doubt in my mind that I will be returning.

Ordered to go twice this year as we passed through the town. 4 stars for the big roll portion. The Terriyaki is different to most of others as it more of onion sauce but it’s not bad. Friendly staff.

The rolls are delicious, beautiful and HUGE. Great for a meal alone. It would be nice if they also made bite size rolls so I can order along with sashimi for a variety filled meal. I will ask next time. If you don’t ask you don’t get. 😉 Fresh and delicious Sashimi. My sushi favorite in Roseburg hands down. Clean and tidy too, inside and out.

Lovely people and great food. I am a picky eater and don’t eat rice. They were happy to give me an excellent recommendation to get the most bang for my buck. The sushi rolls were huge and bursting with flavor. Both my partner and i were extremely pleased.

After aborting a planned earlier lunch due to a big breakfast, I later decided it was best to get a small lunch due to still being within a long drive. From the map, Roseburg is not what one would consider an eatery town. Ami Japanese Restaurant was just the relative most interesting place to eat after a gas stop in Roseburg. In the hot weather outside, I found this place cool and soothing. I had a helping of veggie sushi rolls; I liked them. The cold moist rice made them refreshing on a hot day, and they were tasty. Also, they were anything but stuffing. I digestively felt really good after that small moist lunch. In essence, that sushi lunch was JUST RIGHT!! Miscellaneously, the staff was mellow, happy and professional, yet personable.
