I had some by-the-slice pizza. It was mid grade. The dough didnt taste like anything and was thick, tough and barely cooked (I’m not sure how all those were accomplished at the same time). The pizza was difficult to finish as what i thought was a copious amount of green pepper turned out to be raw jalapeño. A few bites in and my whole mouth felt like i was eating glass shards. I like hot food but it was overwhelming for a slice a pizza. Honestly i couldnt tell you what any other ingredients were on the pizza as i couldnt taste anything after the jalapeños took over. The prices were a bit high for what you get and that coupled with the groups collective agreement on the pizza here vs elsewhere has determined i will not be returning. Im sure this place is someones preference but it is not mine. I wish them the best in business.

I am not from this area and ordered 2 pizzas, 1 hamburger and 1 pepperoni pizza and got only 1 pizza with both combined. However the hamburger looked like rat poop droppings. Gross! Tasted horrible . Avoid this place at all cost. Will NEVER come here again.

I can’t share too much about this place, as I’m not an avid visitor. But I can say that in my 44 years of life, I just had the BEST steak and cheese with extra ricotta cheese in all of those 44 years. I was honestly shocked at how crispy the crust was while still being super easy to cut. My wife even got annoyed with me because I couldn’t stop talking about how good it was the entire time I was eating it. Absolutely outstanding. I’ll be back for sure. Highly recommend!

The 4.2 rating must come from desperate college students because the pizza is garbage. Floppy crust, no flavor, too much cheese, etc. If its 2:00 am I’m sure this tastes good but otherwise I would skip it!

My favourite pizza place in Amherst, or if I’m being honest, ever. I get the chicken nacho every time and despite my efforts I haven’t found a slice that tops this. Every time I come to Mass I HAVE to stop my Ahop, nothing compares. 10/10 always.

I ordered 2 small steak and cheese subs, and there was almost no steak in either sub. I took all the steak from one small sub and it was enough to make one half of a small sub, so I basically paid $30 for one small sub and 2 drinks. They absolutely rip you off on the amount of food they give you!!!!

I heard a lot about ordering food to deliver to the University due to the cold weather and school restrictions. I found Amherst House of Pizza, I called them want to order a heart sharp pizza for my son in Valentine’s Day. They said, yes we do & do you want any message too. Wow that’s what I want to surprise my son. I ordered a large pizza, onion ring, mozzarella stick, chicken Parma with Pasta dinner. I told them charge me everything included deliver fee and tip. The deliver guy was very on time. When my son opened the pizza and the food. He was so happy. The food still warm and so tasty. Support local business they’re very good and very efficient. Highly recommend to everyone.

pizza by the slice is good and generous portion. The grinder was good but skimpy in portion for the cost of 14+. i recommend higher profit by volume of sales with lower prices. not by smaller portions .
