I’ve been driving by Vito’s for about three years and finally decided to stop in.
The staff was very nice, and the food came out really fast, which I appreciated.
We ordered the pepperoni hot honey pizza and a pepperoni roll. Unfortunately, both seemed a bit undercooked. The cheese in the roll wasn’t warm in the center and the pizza was slightly doughy without much crunch.
It wasn’t terrible, but overall the pizza was pretty mediocre compared to what I was hoping for after seeing the place for so long.

Family friendly place in Amherst VA perfect for dinner. Good menu of all the pizzas, pastas, salads, and subs you would expect to find alongside traditional appetizers. The fried pickles were an exception and were tasty.
The paninis and sandwiches are all a good size and the small pizza is plenty to share with 2-3 people depending on how much you eat. Bustling place with a bar as well as table and booth seating.

Great plate food. Quesadillas are amazing. Fish plates, wings, steak, hamburgers, salmon, etc… great mixed drinks. As well as beer and flavored smash drinks. Tables, booths, karaoke night and bands on certain nights. Great service and plenty of space for parking. Clean restrooms. Outside patio with tables and smoking area.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. They forgot my wings, and when I contacted them, I was told they couldn’t refund me only offered store credit to come back another week. After how bad the food and service were, that wasn’t acceptable.
They took my money, and I didn’t argue, didn’t dispute it with my card, and didn’t fight them over it. Honestly, if they need the money that badly, they can keep it but I won’t be back. The pizza was hands down the worst pizza I’ve had. If you want good pizza in the area, Dr. Ho’s is by far the best. Save your money and go there instead.

We stopped by here as it’s my boyfriends home town and he was showing me around. The food was good I had the mushroom burger which was okay not my favorite but a decent burger for the price we paid. The waiter we had a great he checked on us but was not over baring like some can be and he made sure our drinks were always full. The restaurant was clean and felt just like a small town restaurant should it was very homey

-1 star rating on customer service especially when placing orders over the phone. If it’s later in the day but well before closing make sure you have a backup plan for dinner. On 3 separate occasions I placed an order over the phone and when we arrived at the restaurant we were told the order was never placed- although we were able to describe the person who took the order, the total of the order and showed the call log , the staff acted oblivious. The first couple of times this happened- I wrote it off as a mistake however 3 times makes me wonder if it racially motivated. Completely unacceptable.

I could not have asked for more. My panini was grilled to perfection and the ingredients tasted fresh and not soggy, the waitress was nice to my kids who were acting nuts and the restaurant was comfortable and climate controlled. I had a great meal. I highly recommend this place.

1st time ordering from here and they auto added a $3.47 tip to my total even though I said $0.00 tip. I was going to give cash at pick-up. Way to steal my money…..no way to dispute it or edit it once the order is place. Order placed WITHOUT confirmation required so they can scam you.
Waiting for it to be ready, will update my review once I speak to the management.
Update: Pizza is not worth $20, $5 at best. I can get better pizza in frozen food section at Food Lion. Scarce toppings, super greasy, lukewarm at best, not cut thoroughly, toppings pulled off just trying to pick up a slice. Flaccid crust. Tasted like nothing at all. Kids didn’t like it either.
Nothing done to correct the overcharge, not even an apology for it happening. Will not be returning. Huge disappointment. Not at all what it is hyped up to be. Save your money.

We were traveling from Maryland to North Carolina and stopped in for a late lunch. We had Sweet Potato waffle fries as an appetizer and they were great, and for our meal we had Steak tip salad and chicken and broccoli calzone. Everything was delicious, all of the ingredients seemed fresh and the service was great. If you find yourself near Amherst Virginia, definitely stop in.

AMAZING food. I bought the calzone and they even let me replace the ham with pepperoni. Our waitress (Kayla) was also very kind and the atmosphere was very clean as well. Also the prices are very reasonable.
