Decided to try try this eatery outside of downtown and was pleasantly surprised at how awesome this restaurant was. We were greeted quickly and seated immediately. The service staff was super pleasant even on a busy night answering all our question. We arrived in time for the early pricing which is was incredible considering it’s the same size serving as the regular items. We both had Caesar salad and lasagne which both exceeded our expectations. If you like Italian food, fair prices and awesome service be sure to check out America.

Nice place, the food was medium quality, but the service was great. We had an early dinner and it wasn’t busy, but it got full by 6 pm. Obviously, it is a popular place. However, I wouldn’t go back because of the average food.

GREAT FOOD! We had a party of 8 and everyone loved their food! Service was good and servers were attentive. Do not pay to park, there is a QR code to scan inside the restaurant that gives you 3 hours of free parking!

It’s a no from me. I had the shrimp scampi and my partner had the Parmesan chicken. I also ordered a Cesar side salad that never got ordered and got put to go. The food looks nothing like the pictures on here. It looked bad and tasted worst. My pasta was over cooked, and it tasted like pasta water with canned tomatoes. It was very heartbreaking, because even the service was bad. We never got our water refilled, silverware was forgotten to be given twice after we asked for it, and parts of the meals were forgotten as well. The staff was nice. The building itself needs work. There were a few nats and a couple flies, which doesn’t bother me. What did bother me was the mildew smell and the lack of order in the restroom. It wasn’t all terrible. We got a window view of downtown and it was beautiful. The Parmesan cheese is delicious. Spent over $100 and I couldn’t even finish a plate. It was so bad. The only thing I enjoyed was the mussels and dessert. I would never choose to come back willingly. My friend who also went yesterday can agree. The steak was bad. The asparagus was really good, according to him.

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants across the USA. It’s a definite place we must stop each time we travel around Nashville. I was so impressed in the personal ownership that the manager “Ashley” displayed. She made our dinner into an experience and even shared her knowledge of the city. Most importantly she took her time to genuinely care and get to know us. Let me just say if I was a millionaire or owner of a business, this is exactly who I would hire because its people who make the difference.

I really wanted to love this restaurant. Our waiter was definitely over seated and not attentive. The surroundings were nice and pretty.. unfortunately the food was terrible. The chicken parm was unbeatable. The chicken was hard as a rock overcooked and the sauce tasted like metal. The brushchetta was soggy. The 1 positive was our desserts.. the cheesecake and pecan crunch cake.

Company dinner with clients was amazing. Waitress did an amazing job taking care of every need we had. From picky eaters to wanted to eat anything and everything we ordered. It was a great time and food was so good. I personally had calamari, house salad and the fettuccine Imperial, and two old fashions with Woodford Reserve.

Overall experience was good, but not exceptional. For the veal parm, the noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauce had a good flavor. Unfortunately, the veal didn’t have a great texture or flavor. It was a bit tough like it had been frozen, as well as grisly in a few places. They do have quite a few gluten sensitive options, which was much appreciated by my significant other. The server was attentive but not super friendly and definitely didn’t provide the southern hospitality most have come to expect in Nashville restaurants. He almost seemed annoyed to be there. I’d come back, but it won’t be my first choice for Italian. I definitely won’t order the veal parm again.

Very nice Italian restaurant. The food is delicious! Highly recommend the shrimp, bisque and the scallops. The seasonal menu offers a nice variety of dinner options.

We are out of towners who would frequent Nashville for swim meets when I was growing up. Amerigo’s was always on our list of stops! The food was just as good as I remembered, only better now that I can appreciate other dishes. We recommend the carbonara, cacio e pepe, tortellini with crab and of course their tiramisu! They also have a nice wine selection. Love it here!
