I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! The seafood is outstanding and the portions are LARGE! Definitely will eat here again when back in town. The service is fast and the people are so nice. It was a wonderful experience. You will definitely need a to-go box when you leave.

First time eating here. Had dinner and a great waitress. Ordered fried shrimp and chicken tenders, and fried shrimp. So very good. Hushpuppies yummy. Got PLENTY of food. No way you would leave hungry. Bearly a ten minute wait. Fast service.

Oh my goodness! Such a surprise! The hamburger was as big as my face and so incredibly good! We came back a second time and the scallops! So tender! I can’t wait to keep going through the menu. Prices are reasonable, service is sweet and prompt. Decor is a hodgepodge of racing, farming, fishing, Americana.

This was our first time here since we moved to Asheboro. It’s been busy pretty much every time we’ve driven by and this time we were able to get in where there was at least a few parking spots available. I wasn’t prepared for how good it was based on some of the pictures that people have posted. The food is really really like. Really good. So good. I expected greasy spoon food and I did not get that. We didn’t get that at all I had the special 10 oz New York strip medium rare. It was spot on with a baked potato and the beans, Texas toast and the salad. The salad was cold and crisp and delicious as well as the rest of the dinner. My two grandsons had the fish dinner for kids. They ate that up so much and given that they’re three and five they ate as much as they possibly could and were full and content at the end of the meal. My other grandchild had the pork chops and the serving size is so big. She’s still had stuff left over. Both of my kids had the beef tips and were impressed with how the meat was prepared and how these cooks that are back there hats off to them because they know how to cook meat. Great job! We will be coming again… And again… And again!!

Great food. So many places want you in and out as quick as they can and the wait staff just want you to eat and leave. We enjoyed our meal, had a quick chat with our very nice waitress and left when we were done. Actuality everyone was very nice. All without feeling like we were being rushed out the door. Quick service, very reasonable and again, great food. Would def go back if we’re in the area again.

After seeing the zoo, we decided to stop here for the first time based on the reviews, and we were not at all disappointed. Our server was incredibly cheerful and hilarious, and our drinks never emptied. Our lunch arrived quickly and was amazing. My husband ordered the Philly Cheese Steak with onion rings, while I ordered the June Burger Special. Both were outstanding. Usually, there isn’t room for dessert, but we soldiered on and ordered a small version of the Chocolate Volcano, which is a lot for two people. The resulting sugar coma was totally worth it. We had a wonderful dining experience overall, and everything we tasted was outstanding. Without a doubt, we’ll return!

Ate here after leaving the zoo. Got the chicken tenders with baked potato. Came with delicious cole slaw and hush puppies. Everything was good. Even the tea was good. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is because I got a side salad. The lettuce was a mix out of the bag. The cucumbers and tomatoes was good, and the ranch dressing was the homemade kind. It just wasn’t worth over $4 for the salad. But everything else was very good.

Outstanding service. This place has a lovely atmosphere, everyone is super nice. The food is quite good and tasty. Their menu varies from bbq to pasta, tons of options to choose from. The portions are big so if you happen to pick surf and turf and don’t have a big appetite choose sharing it.
