Horrible Service and Subpar Food – Avoid This Location!
I am beyond pissed off with my experience here. Let this be a warning: not all locations are the same. This spot is a prime example of poor management and terrible customer service.
I specifically asked if they sold single pieces of fish, and the staff member clearly said “yes.” However, as soon as I started ordering, she changed her tune and forced me to buy two pieces for $10. Total bait-and-switch.
To make matters worse, I asked for the fish to be extra crispy, but what I received was a complete disappointment. I’m not even sure what kind of fish they served me—it looked nothing like the whiting I’ve received from other locations. It was completely bland, lacked any flavor, and definitely wasn’t cooked to the texture I requested.
Between the “gotcha” pricing and the rude, unprofessional attitude of the staff, I will never step foot in this location again. Save your money and go to a location that actually knows how to treat customers and cook their food. Also on my receipt it stated the name Nigar…..which certainly is not mine. I had to confirm with my sister was this something racist or not.

These wings are starting to get out of hand as far as being large. My lunch is usually old. I placed several orders before getting to this point and was hoping after respectful criticism that they would serve fresh food but the chicken is just nasty. Throwing sauce on nasty chicken just does not help. Halal meat please and real Halal meat. Please stop serving your community old large food.

This place used to be amazing with service and there food was on point , but since new management took over the food is bland and scarce, they stopped making there fish bowls the way they used to . I ordered catfish bowl and got only rice and one piece of fish and the when before the order came with veggies,rice , egg,& 2 pieces of fish .

Ordered a 2 piece whiting combo and it was severely overcooked. I had to argue with the employee to give me another order. He said he would give me another piece which was ok but he did not replace both pieces. It was ridiculous! I get to the car and the 1st piece was just like the texture of pork rinds. Poor customer service! What’s wrong with me wanting my fish to be edible? They want to take your money and then tell you that’s what you ordered. The absolute nerve!

This was the worst American Best wing I have ever seen. For one my food was not good. The fries had a really bad aftertaste. The steak and cheese need to be removed because there was no steak on the sub for the price you pay.The sub looked like an egg roll. As I was standing to wait on my food I seen a mouse come down under the counter to the first table and then it ran back to the counter. I told the staff member and he just acted like he didn’t see it. This place need to be review by the health department for health could violation. If you eat here please look at your food immediately before leaving. I will not be visiting the American Best ever again.If I could rate it as a no star I would.

I went here because it’s close to my work and I thought it would be quick and easy. Ordered a cheesesteak with grilled onions and mayo it came with fries and a drink. I went to my car to eat before I patronized the beauty supply store a couple doors down. Immediately as I bit into the Philly I spat it out. It was terrible and the meat was gritty and chewy. I can’t even say the fries was good because I used their condiments and it gave the fries an after taste. I was so pissed off and debated for 1.5hrs on going back because the guy was really nice but the fact I had just spent $14 and still had to drive to Chick Fil A up the street because I was starving. I finally went back and expressed my grievances the guy who was once nice and accommodating became aloof. no apologies or offers to rectify so I just asked for refund. I will never be back here. Wish them the best though.
