First time here and I’m impressed! I usually don’t care for beans and rice, but theirs were hands down the best I’ve ever had. The Cuban with honey butter press? Absolute 10/10. I’ll definitely be back! Staff was kind.

I recently stopped by after hearing there are new owners, and I’m really impressed. The place looks great, clean, welcoming, and it truly feels like an authentic bakery shop.

I ordered the Super Cuban sandwich, and the gentleman working there took the time to explain their Super Cuban rewards system: buy five Super Cubans and get one free, including chips and a drink. I absolutely loved that idea. The sandwich now also comes with chips, which it didn’t before, so that was a nice touch.

As a Cuban living in Lakeland who was born and raised in Miami, I can honestly say these Cuban sandwiches are amazing—they really taste like home. I’m very happy for the new owners and wish them nothing but success. The next time I stop by, I may even share a few simple ideas inspired by the local bakery sandwich shops I grew up with in Miami. I truly believe these new owners will go far.

Was passing through Lakeland to visit family and being a Tampa native that doesn’t get a chance to visit Florida that often after moving I always make it a point to have a couple Cuban sandwiches when I visit home. To be totally honest, as of the last few times I’ve been home. There is very few in Tampa that really scratch the itch I have for the Cuban sandwich of my childhood. I didn’t go in having super high expectations considering the past reviews but As a business owner myself, it doesn’t always give the full story. I had the pleasure of meeting Mike the new owner and starting chit chatting while he made my sandwich. Really unbelievable how far he’s been able to turn this space around and really put out food to be proud of. This Cuban was the first time in a long time that I had something that truly reminded me of my childhood in Tampa. The bread was perfect. The portions are great. The price is perfect. There’s literally nothing about this that I can complain about besides the fact that I don’t live closer. Bravo! I look forward to coming back whenever that may be!

Our experience was the best. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We loved it. The owner is a extremely educated and nice guy. He was very cordial and he even shared us some cuban sándwich history. I highly recommend anyone to come here and try the best cuban sandwiches. You can even get a 6th sándwich for free when you buy 5 with drink and snack. He is the new owner and he keeps the place in excellent conditions and most importantly sqeaky clean.

I walked in and ordered two regular Cubans and paid for them . Lady went back and made them almost right away. I was only there for a total of maybe six minutes. Young couple came in behind me, they phoned in an order and there’s were not ready yet. Just the one lady working Handling the phone and cash register thankfully she kept changing her gloves when she went back and forth to the food , this was at 10 after 12 lunchtime on a Wednesday. The decor is not very pretty the price for the two Cubans regular with onion and lettuce were 21 and some change.. the sandwiches itself was not the greatest. Did the traditional fold up the meat make it look big in the middle and hardly any at the end couldn’t taste the pork at all. It was just like eating a ham sandwich. I would give that about a three out of 10. Had to try it because it’s close by my house but don’t think I’ll be back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a great job the new owners have done on turning this place around it doesn’t even look like the same shop.
Hands down the best Cuban sandwich I’ve had in a long time! It’s the real deal — authentic Tampa-style with salami, ham, and roast pork, all hot-pressed to perfection. The bread was crispy, the inside was packed with flavor, and the combo of mayo, mustard, and pickles hit just right. You can taste the tradition in every bite. If you want a true Cuban, this is the spot.

I had to take a moment to write this because this place absolutely deserves it.

I recently stopped by this Cuban sandwich shop, and I can honestly say it was one of the best Cuban sandwiches I’ve ever had and I don’t say that lightly. The bread was perfectly pressed and crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. The roast pork was incredibly flavorful and tender, the ham was high quality, the cheese melted beautifully, and the mustard and pickles balanced everything exactly the way a true Cuban should. Every bite was spot on.

What makes this visit even more special is the story behind the place. The shop is under brand new ownership. The current owner recently purchased it from the previous owner and completely redid the space. He told me how rundown it had become and how much work he put into turning it around. You can see the pride he has in what he’s built. The space feels refreshed, clean, and welcoming.

I also want to point out that many of the older reviews don’t reflect the current experience at all. This is essentially a new restaurant with new energy, new standards, and a clear commitment to quality. The owner is passionate, hands on, and genuinely cares about the food and the customers. That kind of dedication shows in every detail.

It’s rare to find a small business owner who is this invested in doing things right from the start. The food quality alone would bring me back, but the hospitality and authenticity make it even better.

If you’re looking for an outstanding Cuban sandwich, this is the spot. I truly hope more people discover this place and support what this new owner is building. It deserves the attention.
