The food was ok. Great service and clean space , but the taste of food is underwhelming.

Given the location, it is hard to find another “upscale” steakhouse, so I appreciate its options.

But the burrata would be better if they warmed a bit since the center was kinda solid … they paired it with some lettuce and tomato which is fine then it is meh…some charred baby tomatoes would give it some dimension drizzled with balsamic.

The Brussels sprouts were flashed fried but the center was not cooked so hard chew… and a tad honey would have helped with the goat cheese topping which made the dish unbearable after 3 bites.

The bread was white dinner rolls which was ok but meh

The salmon with capers was the best dish of the night. Of course they did say it is wild on the menu, but looks and taste just like farm raise Atlantic. I have never seen a fluffy sockeye

The wagyu beef burger aiiii the burger patty wasn’t bad but … for $15 burger , I do think an actual brioche bun , a full leaf green lettuce with slight better presentation may be helpful … and perhaps some condiments would help

The broccolini and mashed potatoes were pretty good so I am glad I added them to the burger.

I get it, it is the mountains, but dang if you are gonna charge the price you gotta refine it to justify jt. Won’t be back.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary on a Saturday evening. Upon entering the establishment, the front doors were sparkling clean. We were greeted by a very friendly, hostess and seated promptly. The seating areas and restrooms were clean and tidy. Our first impression is this is the cleanest restaurant we have been to in a very long time. Our server, ALEX, was nothing short of outstanding. She was kind, courteous and very helpful with our menu selections. We were amazed at the quality of food and the quantity. We had the Hawaiian ribeye and brussels sprouts and crabcakes. We finished with warm bread pudding for dessert. You cannot go wrong with anything you order here. We made the trip to purchase a Christmas tree, and on the way home we found this gem. Getting a Christmas tree in this area is a tradition and we foresee stopping at Americanos Steak House & Wine Bar a new tradition as well. Thank you for providing a special evening.

Saturday reservation for 730, and we’re seated at 7:40 with waitress greeting at 7:45.

-Dinner roll, average and not warm, tasted like packaged rolls from grocery store.
-House and Caesar salads OK.
-Shrimp cocktail: sauce was sweet, not hot or spicy, and not much horseradish.
-shrimp were tough and tasted old
-ordered Brussels sprouts, waitress came back and informed me just ran out. Ordered sautéed greens as alternate, very bland, little taste, could not finish
-ordered sirloin steak medium. Arrived mostly med rare with one end mostly rare. (I Finished eating it because I never return food to be reheated or altered.)
-Guests steak OK, but average
-Guests mashed potatoes bland, little taste, had to add salt to finish
Waitress was polite, prompt with drinks, and nice mix of background music, not too loud to talk.
Overall: Very disappointed in food. Not impressed with the experience. With the advertisements we were looking forward to the visit after trying for 2 years to partake. (Reservations last winter cancelled due to snow.) Possibly off night but this is our personal experience.

No doubt. Previous reviews were spot on. This was a great choice for wife’s monumental birthday dinner. Environment, food and service were great.

We ate here tonight for our anniversary for the 1st time! The steaks were aged to perfection and cooked perfectly! I had the filet and my husband had the ribeye! I would highly recommend! Our server, Alexis was fantastic! 5 stars!

First of all WHO voted to say this is the number 1 steakhouse in the Tri-Cities? Apparently people that voted must be regular customers to Denny’s and Cracker Barrel. The reservations are a bogus tactic to make you think its fancy. This is a diner with very expensive prices!! Atmosphere is very odd and not romantic at all. Honestly if you go here with high expectations don’t say i didn’t warn you. Party of 5 and we all ordered steak. Very tough steak to be called prime. Cold bread that looked and tasted cheap. I will say the baked potatoes were delicious but how hard of a task is that. Salad dressings were not homemade. Oysters were very fishy and massive. But I should have known better to order them in a diner. Im never one to leave a review nor do i complain about the price of food if its good. $450 of disappointed!!!!!

Most of our food was outstanding! The crab cakes are a must! Our waitress Alex was amazing! The host was rude and lacked southern hospitality. It would have been perfect with just some more seasoning. But I’d definitely recommend

Victor, our server, was outstanding! Friendly, helpful, and very attentive. We had an excellent shrimp cocktail, and the Greek salads were so fresh and delicious. We happened to come in after several large parties, so there was a delay in getting our entrees but the quality of the food definitely made up for the wait. It was worth it! The steak and salmon were grilled to perfection. The sauteed spinach and broccolini were excellent.
I highly recommend the carrot cake and bread pudding!
Don’t miss an opportunity to dine in this unique establishment in Roan Mountain

This restaurant is amazing! The steak was fantastic, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great also. We came in and sat down to live music and the steak topped it off, the 22oz prime angus cowboy cut was fit for a king!

I can’t remember our server’s name, but she was ADORABLE! We went on a Saturday at 3 PM. While they still advertise an early menu online, that is not offered. So, don’t be confused. I suppose there is the chance you can ask for that menu, but it wasn’t offered to us when we sat down. The place is basic, honestly, but for Roan Mountain, it’s nice. It is by no means a metropolitan, modern vibe and neither is the clientele. The food is good and reasonably priced. Service is EXCELLENT! Not fine dining detailed, but the young men and women are so polite and kind! I mean, super sweet and lovely. We will absolutely go back! Just don’t expect a fine dining experience if you live in a city of .5-1 million people.
