We’ve been here multiple times for both dinner and brunch, and since I already reviewed dinner, today’s review is all about brunch. This place is just awesome. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a Sunday afternoon. Sitting by the water during brunch is relaxing, and at night when the lights come on, it turns into a very romantic dinner spot. It’s not too far from the Strip, but far enough away to feel calm and removed from the chaos.
Today I had the pear salad, and my husband had the French toast. As you can see from the photos, we pretty much wiped the plates clean — it was that good.
The pear salad had grapes and a little blue cheese. I normally don’t like blue cheese at all, but they used just enough that I couldn’t really taste it, and it worked perfectly with everything else. I added crab to the salad for $20, and it was very worth it. They gave me a lot of crab — not a skimpy add-on at all — and it was delicious.
My husband’s French toast was also really good. Soft inside, nicely caramelized outside, and not overly sweet. Definitely a solid brunch choice.
Then I ordered dessert: the lemon Italian cake. It came with Chantilly cream on top, a light sprinkle of pistachio, and little curls of lemon peel. There was a sauce that wasn’t caramel and I couldn’t really identify the flavor. it was very flavorful without being too sweet and it paired perfectly with the berries. The berries were a little tart. I used the berries that were on the side to mop up all the sauce. It wasn’t too sweet at all. The cream was so good I could honestly eat a bowl of just that. The whole dessert was light, fresh, and really well balanced.
We were also lucky enough to be taken care of by Arisa. She is absolutely adorable, gave great service, and has such a cute, friendly personality. She isn’t there all the time, but if you’re lucky enough to get her, you’ll get great service and a beautiful smile.
Overall: amazing food, beautiful setting, peaceful vibe, and great service. This place is a win for both brunch and dinner.

We went for valentines day this year. We were not told it would be a fixed menu. We each had the lobster bisque, our main course was a half of a filet mignon and one scallop. And a sliver of cake for desert. We each had one drink and our bill came out to $400. For it being a dinner we were unaware we didnt get to choose and the portions being laughable we were disappointed to say the least. The food was decent, but no where near as good as it should have been for the price point. We will not be returning.

Excellent overall experience. I had the dry-aged New York and a martini. Great service. The view of the lake is a nice touch. Save your bread to feed the ducks.

I finally got to try Americana for the first time, our table probably can see the best view of the lake.

We started with the Seafood Towel for the appetizer, then we had pan seared king salmon dish that was cooked to perfection. We also had the grilled fillet mignon and steak Diane they were delicious and cooked perfectly.

The overall aesthetic is elegant and inviting also the entrees here are definitely generous.

We love this place and usually every thing they serve is amazing. We made reservations for my sons birthday. We get there. They apologize that we will have to wait longer due to a private party event just ending. Not a big deal. When we got our food it wasn’t as flavorful as normal. The risotto and rice dishes were very watery tasting and not with their usual beautiful flavors. We ordered the seafood tower and the shrimp were very fishy. The scallops in my dish were overly salty and the risottoit came with tasted like watered down no hint of the blood orange sauce that accompanied it, i was offered a salad instead. The lamb shank had no flavor. The manager didn’t seem to care when my hubby addressed the issues. Our server was nice enough to have the scallops removed from our bill. I hope this was an isolated incident because we adore this place.

We had such a marvelous anniversary dinner at Americana. The staff were so prompt and accommodating without being intrusive and all of the food was precisely executed and delicious. They have a 5 course prix fixe listed online but when we came they also had a weekly 3 course one–that’s what we got and I’m so glad we did! It was delicious but also much more filling than I would normally expect from a high end restaurant, I have no idea how someone would finish 5 dishes! One of my favorite things we had was actually a salad, it was like a treasure box of flavors and textures and every bit was different and delicious. Super good, I highly recommend for a special occasion.

Americana has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Las Vegas. Tucked along the peaceful Desert Shores Lake, it’s the perfect place for a birthday celebration, a special dinner, or just a relaxing evening away from the Strip.

The food has been consistently excellent every time we’ve gone, beautifully made, full of flavor, and fairly priced. But what truly makes the experience special is the service. Cheryl, our waitress. has been warm, attentive, and always goes the extra mile. Honestly, she’s one of the main reasons we keep coming back.

With great food, an impressive wine list, and that gorgeous lake view, Americana never disappoints. It’s one of those places you can’t help but tell friends about, a local gem worth sharing.

This place is super cute and has really good happy hour 4-6pm (at the bar only). Justin was our bartender, and he is very knowledgeable with spirits and drinks and can make anything cocktail incredibly delicious. Even the regular menu is good. The only thing I didn’t like was the meat on the charcuterie board. It tasted like bologna. Other than that, they have incredible lake side views. Perfect for date nights or a girls night out!
