We only stopped to photograph the Maytage Washer Woman that is an iconic Boise roadside attraction listed on RoadsideAmerica.com. We did love the pizza sign “Slice Slice Baby” and “Killer Lasagna”

If you are saying to yourself “why do they open at 4pm” just wait till they open. Best damn pizza I had had in a very long time in Idaho… hands down.

People don’t talk enough about Americana. Feel like we need some shirts for sale because they sure know how to make a box look dope, an Americana Pizza shirt would be a wardrobe staple.

Best pizza you’ll find near the bench, or even in Boise for that matter. Super friendly team, quick service, and great quality ingredients. Great music while waiting for my order as well. 10/10 will be returning.

I went to pick up my preordered pizza and they pulled it out of a hot box when I arrived at 8pm, which was actually early for my scheduled pick up time of 8:15. Hmm already done and sitting under a heat lamp in a metal box? They make pizzas daily so they should know how to time it right to match the customer’s desired pick up time. I ordered way in advance too so they had plenty of time to plan it out. Since the crust was super chewy and nearly impossible to eat, I suspect that they actually made it a lot earlier, then hotboxed it until I arrived. Anyway, I didn’t look in the box, I had no reason to. I had ordered their classic Margherita pie, which was one of their premium specialties and carried a surcharge, they make them all the time, so I didn’t feel a need to check and make sure it was correct. And I drove home. I arrived and opened the box. A topping was clearly missing. I took photos and called them. They were winding down for the day but were incredibly rude. I was as polite as could be. I told him I think you accidentally just forgot to add the topping. The guy on the phone took an angry tone and said “Yeah? So what do you want me to do about it?” I was surprised he took that tone and attitude with me when I was trying to be nice. I didn’t berate him at all. Nope, I was as kind as could be and yet he’s got this attitude, like the incorrect order was my problem. I kindly asked him well maybe you can just do a refund of the price of that topping or something. I had barely picked it up, they could easily have found my order on their computer and done a partial refund. He says “maybe, I will see what I can do!” And hung up on me without taking down my number just in case. Anyway I waited 2 full weeks and never saw the refund. I did try and eat the pizza anyway that night, and found the bad crust mentioned above and it was overall way too salty. I will never go back there and will tell my friends and coworkers the same. That’s not how you treat a customer. The following week a coworker ordered Domino’s and I hadn’t been there in ages. Guess what? That cheap 8 dollar Dominos pizza crust was outstanding. Crisp and buttery, seasoning on the pie was perfect and it was so good that I went there myself to get dinner a week later. The Domino’s was affordable and still tasted excellent. By comparison Americana charged me almost 30 for a bad pizza, missing toppings that I paid for (and they never refunded), made too soon and hotboxed until the crust was inedible. Yet they are supposedly making authentic, high quality pies according to their reputation from a few locals. Which was why I was willing to spend that much. Well those locals were wrong in my opinion. This is why I hate online ordering systems that ask for tips in advance, before you even see or taste the food. They did not deserve the generous tip I gave them. Especially after the guy gave me attitude on the phone when it was he who made the error. So I am expressing my displeasure in this review instead. That’s what I’M gonna do about it, mister pie man.

This place is a wecole addition to the Bench! The pizza dough is second to none. I highly recommend the “everything bagel” crust. It’s pretty hard to go wrong with this pizza. This place only fills a void i didn’t k ow we had until they moved in.

Great pizza! Can’t go wrong with the Iron Maiden themed box either. Super cool! Service was lacking, but the box and the pizza made up for it.

I’ve always loved Americana Pizza and was thrilled when they opened in my neighborhood on Vista. It’s great to see the prior restaurant space repurposed for delicious pie! The quality, flavor, and service are perfect – in my opinion, AP is in Top 5 in Boise.

Top notch pizza here. Good crust, good quality ingredients, put together nicely, and cooked perfectly. I got the pepperoni and the special: white sauce, potato slices, pepperoncini, and ricotta with a red sauce drizzle and everything but the bagel seasoned crust. So good!
This is not a sit down restaurant. There’s a ledge you can sit at. Only holds 5 people.
