We were recommended to have the cod sandwich as the fish was fresh that day. It was really tasty and hot and we both really enjoyed the meal. The service was good and the waitress was very attentive.

Oh where to begin with Americana Cafe!! Their food is always on point is the closest to delicious and creative dishes usually found near the city.. Always fresh food and the owners, bless their kind hearts! Lobster roll was extremely fresh and full of thick meat. The fries were PERFECT!!! Don’t forget a peanut butter bar for dessert.

Treat yourself to an incredible meal from this restaurant!! I have ordered from them a few times recently and each time the food was absolutely delicious. I have had the opportunity to eat at some of the finest restaurants in our area and I would rank this establishment right up there with the best!

Delicious! We had lobster ravioli and a brie and bacon cheeseburger. I recommend both.

Fantastic food in a cozy, casual setting. Fish and chips were great. When my husband ordered a salad, as he had been sick, they responded with easy, fresh choices, including a slice of fresh avocado. The woman that waited on us was super kind, just attentive enough, and even treated our daughter to dessert to take home. Will be back soon.

Do you want fresh, imaginative food? Look no further! This little “hole in the wall” may skip your attention as you drive by but don’t let its size fool you. Everything I have had here is tastefully created with the finest ingredients and the best 2 chefs. And they are kind, wonderful people, Karen and Peter, the owners. Even my granddog, Radar, loves to visit! And if you are really lucky, peanut butter and jelly smashburger may be on the specials menu! My fav!

Oh my God! Such gread food and specials. Took my family here and everyone was talking about it all day. We had homemade steak and cheese egg rolls and chicken saltimbocca with twice baked potatoes and delicious roasted vegetables. What a gem! I wanna try everything. And dessert specials here are fantastic. We had homemade Boston cream doughnuts. Also shout out to Karen and Peter! You guys are the best!

Absolutely love this place. Have my favorites off the menu but their specials are fabulous. We are probably there at least once a week, lunch or dinner and occasionally I am sure both.

I’m not usually one to complain, that being said, this ranks up there with one of the worst restaurant experiences that I’ve ever had. I ordered fish and chips. The woman on the phone asked me to clarify whether I wanted fish and chips or a fish sandwich. I stated fish and chips as I had no desire to have a fish sandwich. I went to pick up our orders of fish and chips, only to find out that we were given fish sandwiches. I returned to the restaurant to ask why I got fish sandwiches instead of fish and chips. The waitresses response was you ordered fish sandwiches I asked you what you wanted and you said fish sandwiches. I’m pretty sure I know what I ordered. The person that was sent in to pick up the order for us asked for some extra ketchup , he was told there was plenty of ketchup already in the package. Then the comment was made that it’s time for them to start ordering packets of ketchup. So I went in to ask for some extra ketchup, at which point they were mocking the request for ketchup. Perhaps you should wait for the customer to leave the restaurant area completely before making fun of them. For goodness sakes I only wanted one extra cup of ketchup. The smell in the car from the fish sandwiches was nasty, the fishy odor was strong. This whole situation could have been handled differently. Example: I’m sorry for the misunderstanding could I remake your meal for you and absolutely you may have another container of ketchup. Needless to say I will not be returning and I will spread the word to everyone that I know. #americanacafewareham
