Came in from” Wisconsin for the Rangers/Bruins game. AW was the perfect pre-game pub to get ready. “ReeRee” was our server and did a great job! Courteous, prompt and a great personality. The food and beverages were very good. Food came out right away. Great staff and Great experience! Highly recommend

Came here with friends and tried the duck nachos which was different from my norm but I enjoyed it. The smoked wings in chili sauce would be my first recommendation with sweet potato fries and honey mustard sauce. The staff is friendly. The music was good. We had a great time. I would come again and highly recommend especially on a game night.

Stopped by American Whiskey before a game at MSG because the location is perfect. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
Service was painfully slow as it took over 30 minutes just to get our first drink, and the bartenders barely acknowledged us. We were also told they weren’t seating tables for another hour, which made zero sense.
For a place that calls itself a whiskey bar, the drinks were shockingly bad. They don’t have sour mix for a whiskey sour, and the old fashioneds were a mess. No muddled fruit, bottled syrup, way too many bitters, and some mystery “juice.”
Great location, bad execution. Do yourself a favor and grab a drink literally anywhere else but here!

Eagle is a rare thing in the concrete jungle of NYC. I rarely see it. Eagle rare is one of my favorite whiskeys I tried a few years ago and like it a lot. Also Johnny and Evan William. I have a new whiskey drinker palette but I’m specific about what I like. Much more to discover and I know this is a place I can taste American brands to like.
Nice place. Spacious and aerated with just the proper light for a cozy ambiance.
Friendly staff. Kaitlyn went above and beyond to provide great service. I tried an eagle rare old fashion. It was delicious.

Do not eat or drink here. I went last night and I’m now recovering from the worst food poisoning of my life, vomited over 30 times. I got a glass of white wine, crispy brussels sprouts and a slider … not sure which one was contaminated or if all of them were, but I will never be coming back here and this has been one of the worst sicknesses of my life.

This a friendly, spacious bar with a fun, theme-appropriate decor. The bartenders are very friendly. Mine made me a pretty good whiskey toddy! I ordered tater tots for a snack and they were fresh and texturally perfect, and came in a decent-sized portion. I’d definitely stop in for a post-work drink again.

This place is great. Made reservations for my husband’s birthday, got a table a little earlier than our reservation time. The lamb chop lollipops were OMG…. My husband had the chicken sandwich with a vodka/Red Bull, I had the steak. And the prices are very good.
