Our first time here…kinda slow getting to us ..but waitress was sweet and knowledgeable about things we asked about I had French dip& sweet potato fries .soggy bun …but taste was good not over seasoned..hubby had rueban sandwich he really enjoyed it a good balance of meat & sauerkraut,our portions were large Will we be back?YES!!!

We had a lovely visit. It had been year’s since we had been to this location, and when we received our meal we could not understand why we had not stopped sooner. The food is delicious and our server was wicked fast with refills on our drinks and witty conversation! It was FUN!

Whoa Nelly! I don’t know who the speedy cook is in this restaurant, but I hope you get paid well. I sat down, ordered, looked around, Judge Judy was on one tv, Fox news and the Florida hurricane disaster on the other, opened up my phone, and bam, breakfast was served. I kid you not, 2 to 3 minutes. The fastest breakfast order turnover time in my life. And there was other patrons. I wasn’t the only one eating. And the food was solid and good. Had to get a slice of cheescake to go.

Food here is usually good. Now & then it hasn’t been the best. Just ate there today. I ordered a med rare ribeye that didn’t have any pink on it, very gristly, and tough. A couple of the younger waiters and waitresses needed some practice in customer service and professionalism. While we are a fairly laid back community where formalities aren’t a huge deal, we still feel that kids should know the proper way to speak to customers, maybe not repeat the word “Like” so much. ” Like, you can sit wherever ya want. Like do ya wanna follow me? Like is this table ok? Like, somebody’ll be right with ya.” Other than that, I’d say this Diner is alright. It does offer a variety of foods and staff is friendly. After today’s visit though, I gotta give it three stars. Seems every time we go there they have raised their prices. We definitely didn’t get the best bang for our bucks!

This is a great place in Washington. It has been many different restaurants over the years but I believe this one will have some staying power. It was very well staffed with friendly people and the food was great. Service was fast and the property was clean. My only suggestion for improvement is to not have cable news on the big television.
