A true neighborhood restaurant with relaxed but friendly service, which shines in the beautiful, contemporary dining room, with incredible artwork and detailing, alongside a fun, bustling, covered garden patio area…it makes for the very best atmosphere at this downtown gem. The restaurant is known for it’s delicious menu, everything made in house, from the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients in the capable hands of Chef-Owner, Neil Ferguson, paired with a thoughtfully compiled wine list and the most moreish cocktails.
Rustic decor with New American seasonal foods & over 500 American-made wines, served by candlelight.

We LOVE everything about Seasons…food is excellent, meticulously prepared, visually appealing and tantalizing to the taste buds. We ate here two nights in a row on our Na tucket visit just to enjoy most of the menu before leaving the island. Love the patio and the quaint seating by the window. Staff was so friendly and attentive.
Fave dishes: whipped ricotta, gazpacho, risotto, buratta, roast scallops, beef strip loin with braised beef cheek, halibut, giannone chicken and the sticky pudding for dessert is outstanding! Servings are quite plentiful.

The food was wonderful as always . The service felt rushed and inattentive after discounting for the fact that it was Tuesday night and off-season . Have tried reaching out to the restaurant but received no response .

This was definitely a mixed bag. Our server was extremely pleasant and professional, but the service was remarkably slow. It took over half an hour after our reservation to be seated, and another 15-20 minutes before anyone took our order. They also forgot the complimentary bread course until prompted, but were happy to accommodate. Food was also mixed; the chicken liver appetizer was delicious, but the duck entree was not well seasoned and quite gamey. The restaurant itself is beautifully done, and we had great cocktails at the bar before our meal. Not a terrible experience, but the service and menu don’t reflect the price.

Run away from this place. Hostess and server were unbelievably rude, the price is high for what you get. This place is pretends to be something its not (a place worth going).

Beautiful space, wonderful hostess. Wait staff and bus staff need more training in people skills. Not super friendly and/or awkward. Standing around talking to each other while we waited for assistance, ordering, food etc. Food was very good, not great. Both meat dishes undercooked. Enjoyed our time though.

Other than it taking forever for them to seat us everything was fantastic. The food was so good! And the atmosphere was great! I would highly recommend American Seasons!

We have been coming here for 25 ? years, it’s always been a special “go to” place for us… unfortunately the food quality, portion size and value are no longer acceptable. $57 for a tiny Fluke entree. I normally love gazpacho, however it was not to my liking as the crab had mayonnaise or some sauce/filler which definitely does not mix well with the tiny portion of soup provided. To top it off we were served 1 somewhat stale piece of plain bread and they wanted to charge extra for another serving which is ridiculous at this price point.

Cozy, warm, rustic Nantucket, off the tourist beat but well known locally with super friendly staff and outstanding American cuisine. The prices are fair for the area and for the food and service quality. I had the pork shoulder which was nicely sized, expertly prepared, and flavorful but not overwhelmingly spiced (as some restaurants do). My wife had the scallops with an amazing sauce that perfectly complimented the scallops. Be aware though that they are still slammed by lack of staff so be prepared to relax and enjoy a calm and paced evening. Big call out to Bridget your server who kept her calm and friendly manner about her even though clearly stressed, as she also had to fill in for the host who was missing this evening. Minus one star, though, for the management who was completely missing in action, and who could have come around to greet and apologize for the delays (we and others had to wait about 30 minutes past our reservation time to get seated, and one couple was even threatened with a $50/person service charge for cancellation when they inquired earlier in the evening!). However, these being extraordinary times as the season on Nantucket is just wrapping up, we will certainly give them another try next season!

We made a Saturday 830pm reservation and still wasn’t seated by 9pm. Kept getting told “table is getting cleared” but watched it go to other people. Same lady kept asking for our names when we asked about our table. She told us we should just go somewhere else if we wanted to, and that the more I asked about my table, the more time I am taking away from her to do something else? we ended up going somewhere else, which sucked because we were a family celebrating an engagement
Seems like waiting for your rezy is a thing here? TLDR be prepared to wait if you’re thinking of a group dinner on a a weekend
