I went in after being told what a great establishment it was. The food lacked flavor & WAY overpriced for what you get, but the service itself is what was really disappointing. The bartender was too busy playing on her phone to actually do her job. She disappeared into the back for long lengths of time. I saw people waiting for over 10 minutes before she helped them. I also heard some other patrons mention how the bartender asked them to Venmo her money. To say this gave bad impression is an understatement.

The food is amazing…. my new favorite food is the pickleback chicken wings, they were delicious. I wanted to try everything. Those new cooks are doing amazing and it shows in their food…. What a great place to hang out and have good food & good drinks, with great people…

I recently visited American Legion Post 724 while passing through town from Hollywood, Florida. I always make it a point to stop at a local post for a drink, and after calling ahead and speaking with Tina, I was glad to hear they’d be open past 9. However, when I arrived with two friends, things didn’t go as smoothly as I’d hoped. I only had a photo of my membership card from last year—my current card was lost with my wallet a few months ago. Despite explaining my long-standing membership and military+community involvement, we were turned away and not allowed to have a beer. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and it seemed like they weren’t interested in accommodating visitors who weren’t locals. While I understand the need for rules, the experience left a bad impression, especially since my friend now doesn’t want to visit another American Legion post again. I’m giving 2 stars because, although I totally appreciate what the Legion stands for, this particular visit was disappointing. They could have welcomed is and made it work but instead we were shoooed out the door. Im sure Tina and the patrons discussed it after we left, because i had everything and more after the somewhat interagation other than my membership card was from 2024 and not 2025. Shame on your post for not being flexible when you could have. God Bless America.

Friendly wait staff (bartenders and cooks). Drink service is quick, minimal wait times even when it is packed. Food is very good, smoking is allowed and the Smoke Eater system works well. Music selection is extensive and pool tables are available along with TV’s to watch sports or news.

My first visit at this legion was quite pleasant. Very friendly staff, the aviance was relaxing. I received an abundance of food for the price and it arrived hot. Staff checked several times if we needed anything else. Definitely will visit again soon.

Great bar, much more busy than most Legions. Big menu, good food, excellent service and they have pool tables, video games, dart board and live bands! Lacking one because they lack outdoor seating away from the smoke!
