We rented the downstairsfor a wedding and had a amazing time. The manager did a awesome job at handling my very many requests and questions after only just becoming manager. If I could give it more stars I would. The atmosphere was perfect and casual it was exactly what we were looking for. They had everything we needed and for a great price. I don’t think it could have been better. Definitely will rent again in the future

One of the nicest Legions in Alaska. Great view of the lake, great people, and great service. They do serve food at various times but not always, and the menu can vary. So if you’re hungry and want to know what’s being served ahead of time so you can decide whether you’d like to eat here or stop elsewhere beforehand, simply call ahead. And remember, the food is made by volunteers trying to make some money for the club. Not 5-star chefs doing it for a living. Going to any Legion expecting a full service menu, then complaining about it when you find there’s “only steak sandwiches” is just plain stupid and doesn’t say much about the supposed community minded individual who did the complaining.

We went with friends for dinner but they only had steak sandwiches so we were disappointed by that. They do have a great view of the lake, though. We did not stay to see how the food was.
