I’m not a member but we took our 2 son’s here for trunk or treat and it was one of the best we’ve ever been to, not because it was so big but because the ladies who were inside/hosting as well as those passing out candy, were above and beyond wonderful, kind, and so generous with us. They made sure the kids had everything that was in their power to give them, went and found them pumpkins to paint even though they were out and just made us all feel very comfortable and welcomed. We really appreciated everything and enjoyed the pumpkin painting.
I come from a long family line of navy veterans and I grew up with my grandparents taking me to the Legion with them every weekend for one thing or another and it was so heartwarming to be back and see that nothing has changed, our vets are still as selfless, kind and giving as they have always been. As if they hadn’t given enough as it is, now they’ve come home and continued to give and serve their community.We owe you a debt of gratitude.
