Dinner tonight for 4. No reservations needed tonight, just an average amount of people dining here. A few open tables available in the diniing area. Nice place cozy atmosphere. They change up their menus monthly and offer specials also. Food severed, a nice presentation. Had a small food issue which was addressed and handled quite professionally. Thank you to the staff. Overall a great night, good food and wonderful desserts.

This is my favorite restaurant around Springfield. The food is absolutely amazing. Sometimes the descriptions of the food sound like really odd combos, but they always work so well. It is on the pricey side, but it’s absolutely worth it. They even have interesting and delicious cocktails. My favorite has been The Dude Abides, which was their take on a white russian.

Every detail is extraordinary! The ruby trout was delicious and well prepared, and the accompaniments were both diverse and harmonious. The pear pressure cocktail was a special for that night, and it was fantastic, but the 6 degrees of kevin bacon was a work if art! The candied bacon in the drink was soooo good!!!
A fantastic find for the drive between Chicago and St. Louis!

The food is always inventive, seasonal and delicious. The menu changes per the season of what is growing. There are so great dishes to choose from, everyone at your table will be happy! Chef Aurora Coffey’s desserts are to die for! They also carry (quality) local brews, wine and coffee.

Delicious, fresh, and creative! Chose this place for my birthday dinner and I was not disappointed. We actually showed up the same day as the new, seasonal menu.
We started off with Ricotta Gnocchi made with a spicy and savory tomato sauce. I tried to pick out the notes of ingredients from the flavor, but it was so delicious I just wanted to eat it. Entrees: my boyfriend got the Bistro Burger made with brie cheese and a side of scrumptious fries. He said all the ingredients were proportional to make a burger that is familiar yet new. I chose the roasted salmon: to-die-for! The salmon was served over a bed of extra creamy mashed sweet potatoes and sauteed bok choy, with a sweet and savory peanut relish on top. I was in birthday-dinner heaven! The chefs who prepared the menu and meals are artists and we will definitely be back!
Great wine list, coffee, and cocktail options. The cocktail names are hilarious!

Great experience and delicious cocktail menu (the picture is a portion of the cocktail menu showing their creative naming scheme)! I have to admit, I was slightly disappointed that the Moscow mule didn’t come served in a copper mug but the drink itself was very good. The subsequent drinks I had were also very good. For my meal I had the burger with the apple jam which I thoroughly enjoyed, perfect portion. The waitress (and her daughter) were very helpful and catered to our every need. We ordered the chef’s table which is an assortment of meats and cheeses. However the chef forgot to put some of the meat on there. We would’ve never knew that anything was missing but nevertheless, our waitress came out with the missing meat plus a little more cheese as an apology from the chef. This is next level service. Would definitely recommend!

The service was great and the food was good. Below is the stuffed french toast and that was amazing! Ordered the shrimp po boy and it was tasty however the shrimp was heavily breaded.
Good atmosphere. Was there for the Sunday brunch, open arrangement, plenty of seating.

Feels nicer than a strip mall restaurant. Good job with the ambiance and decor. We called ahead to see if they were busy and we were told really open. Within 15 minutes we arrived and sure enough there were at least 7 open tables almost all in the same room. The host told us it would be a 10 minute wait. I had thought maybe there would be people coming in with reservations for these tables, but after waiting the 10 to 15 minutes, no one showed. In fact, several of these tables stayed open the whole time we were there. Maybe they had to reassign wait staff before seating us or something but it was odd. The waiter gave a great wine suggestion and we ordered the roasted carrot app and the baked Brie app too. Love the farm to table concept and the food showed it’s great flavors. The chicken sandwich was delicious! The salmon very nice and the pressed chicken great too. The service sort of slowed down as the meal progressed and the waiter went MIA for a bit. I am guessing maybe they were short that night. I would go back as the food was really good and the menu creatively matches up foods.
