The ham was out of this world. Real ham meat. Not the jelly yuck ham. The hashbrowns were a large amount. This restaurant is not worth passing by. Family owned and it shows. Thank you for the great service and wonderful food.
We had to return the next day, our new favorite place
Large portions and very affordable prices.
I enjoy the specials board, they had goulash yesterday, it was your regular diner / basic goulash.. it took me straight back home to my younger years. Please consider adding “Moms Goulash” to your regular menu. ❤️,
My wife got the perch.
I will say the perch was a little greasy. According to her, the french fries that she got were really good.
The mashed potatoes that I got with the country fried steak were really good.
The vegetables however, avoid canned vegetables and if you ordered the broccoli, it’s literally just broccoli florets on your plate. No seasoning, no nothing
The waitress was nice but a little pushy. We didn’t really have time to look at the menu or anything before she came over three times to see if we were ready. She also said that most people know what they want before they sit down. I’m like this is our first time here so no we don’t know haha
My wife got to clam chowder. She said it was really good and tasted homemade. She did say it was a little gritty because they used too much cornstarch to thicken it up. I got the chicken noodle soup and it was actually really good and had big chunks of chicken in it
All in all good place to eat quick, easy and not too expensive. It was $31 for both of us to have those meals and like I said we also got pudding as a dessert
The menu is huge with everything from fish and chips to burritos. They have home made soup and deserts. Our waitress was friendly but hovered a lot barely giving us time to open the menu before asking if we were ready to order.
I ordered the pan fried perch and my husband ordered the country fried steak. Both dinners came with soup or salad choice of potato a vegetable and dessert. The portions were really big. The bowls of soup were double what you would normally expect at a diner. The country fried steak came with two large steaks and a big portion of mashed potatoes and the perch came with two average size pieces and one smaller piece. My fish was very greasy for being pan fried and the bottom side of all three pieces were almost burnt. The fish was over done and flavorless and what little breading was on it was falling off because it was so wet. My fries were perfectly cooked. The clam chowder was actually delicious, but overly thick and a little grainy. My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were great he said. He enjoyed the chicken noodle soup so much he filled up on that and was only able to eat a couple of bites of his dinner.
The restaurant was clean, but the tables are very worn out, the seats were taped in several places. The prices are great for the amount of food you get, but the food is mediocre.
Still the best restaurant in town!
Great menu choices.
Where everybody knows your name kinda restaurant.
Lamb gyros served on a pita wrap w/tzatziki sauce are delicious!
The french fries are to die for. So nice and crunchy! Yummy! All their food is great!
The waitress’/waiters have wonderful personalities and their service is great!
It was accompanied by a tasty side salad. My hot tea came with two tea bags, a green and a black.
The facility was modern, well kept, and clean.
