I enjoyed my visit here! The wings were fresh, nicely sized, and fried perfectly, I didn’t even have to ask for them extra crispy. The catfish and lake trout were well breaded and generously portioned. I would definitely recommend asking for extra of the white seasoning on your food, while everything was good and fresh there wasn’t much salt added. So the seasoning they put on top makes it perfect.
I also loved the jumbo shrimp, fries, yams, and broccoli cheddar bites. The mac and cheese was decent. The only item I wouldn’t recommend is the greens, they seemed fresh but lacked flavor.
The owner, Ashraf, is very kind, and the restaurant was clean and well organized. They offer some great deals and are even open on Thanksgiving! I definitely recommend checking them out.

The people who work there are nice but…they need to learn how to cook. The chicken is NOT fully cooked. I thought maybe it was a one-off so I took it back to get a replacement. Same thing, not fully cooked and on some pieces, you can see the batter isn’t fully cooked either. I will not be purchasing anything from them again I’ll go to one of the other numerous chicken spots in the area. Was definitely a waste of money and I should’ve looked at reviews beforehand.

LIKE THAT! Their Chicken Cheesesteak ($11.49 with onions, peppers, provolone, lettuce, & lemon pepper dusted fries). Thick cuts of chicken breast, plentiful, cheesy, this cheesesteak caught me off guard!! The fries with the sweet ranch flavored/lemon pepper dust…DELICIOUS.
LIKE THAT! Their Fish & Wing Combo ($11.99 with 3 dusted fried wings, 2 pieces of dusted fried whiting, fries, Mumbo sauce, & a roll). With the dust, the wings, & chicken were actually pretty tasty!! The fish was fried with cornmeal. That was NOT Mumbo sauce, it was bbq sauce…PASS!
PASS. Their Mac n Cheese ($3.99). Respectfully…this tasted like box Mac n cheese.
DELICIOUS. Their Sweet Potatoes ($3.99). Good, I just needed more flavor with this.
NAH. Their Half n Half ($2.99 half lemonade, half ice tea). It was fermented.

We drove here from DC today after seeing Facebook posts about the food being good. The staff was very friendly. I got the Shrimp, Steak, and Cheese sub and fries. I must tell you I was very happy. I don’t understand how I can crave for something I never had. My friend had the liver and gizzards, and she loved it. We definitely will be back.

After seeing this restaurant on Instagram, I had to try it. Very friendly but the food wasn’t good at all. I spent $56 and was disappointed. The catfish looked good but had no flavor. Mac and cheese taste like it came from the box. The collard greens was horrible, no flavor. The buffalo wings were horrible. Had hot sauce on them not buffalo sauce. I’m from PA so it was very disappointing to spend so much money and didn’t like anything.

The service was great! The trout was disgusting. It was hard and dry with no flavor. Feels pretty bad to just throw away money. I was searching for an alternative to Lake trout 2 as their trout is super small and not the freshest. This is not it.

I order from this place often but I don’t know if they have new staff or just off days but the food i received was awful. Catfish had no flavor, fries were bland, chicken was mid. It was so bad I got a redelivery and the new food was equally as bad. Wasted my money unfortunately. This location usually does great so this was very disappointing.

I spent $31 here the food was horrible. The catfish had no flavor what so ever. The chicken wings were just nasty. I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN..I wish I would’ve just took everything back and gotten my money back. Decided to just trash it instead..
