I recently ordered the wing combo at American Deli – North Park Mall in the food court. The signage clearly advertises wings served with celery and your choice of ranch or blue cheese. After paying over $17 for the combo, I received wings and fries instead.
When I went back to the counter to ask about the missing celery, I was told they “don’t sell celery anymore” and that I “just have to ask.” That response was frustrating. Customers should not have to confirm whether the posted menu is accurate. If an item is no longer offered, the signage should be updated or customers should be informed before paying.
I would have understood if the situation had been handled with a simple apology or acknowledgment that the signage needs to be corrected. Instead, the staff acted as if it was unreasonable for me to expect what was advertised.
To make matters worse, the wings themselves were very underwhelming, especially considering the price. Compared to other options in the area, the quality does not justify the cost.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience due to inaccurate menu information, poor customer service, and average food at a premium price. I hope management addresses the signage and customer communication moving forward.

If I could rate negative 10 I would. I haven’t been in years so I decided to stop by and get a 6 piece combo fries/drink which was about $12. The workers were very unprofessional, wait time was awful, and food TERRIBLE! My pinky finger is the length or longer than my wings. Never would I ever again even if the food was free!

The two young ladies working the front counter today were so pleasant. However, this is the 3rd time I’ve been to this location recently and some of the wings were smaller than my pinky finger. The wings were so small that I almost felt bad eating them. I paid $17 for a 10 piece combo half lemon pepper half mild and I felt like I’d eaten a 5 piece. Certainly a waste of money because I’m still hungry and have to spend more money on more food. I’m trying to give them a chance because this used to be my go to place for wings but I just can’t just give away $17 and walk away with an empty stomach in this economy.

$17 for baby wings is diabolical I been a loyal customer for over 20 years going back to metro center days and have never felt so disrespected. I stay in Dallas and the first place I go is American Deli every time I come home and was utterly disappointed. Yall gotta do better respectfully

I ordered a burger & wing combo. I didn’t have any fries, was told fries cost extra, and it’s a combo?!? Crazy!! The cashier always has a bad attitude and the wing flavor is NOT the same!! The burger was awful! Taste char-boiled. I won’t go back.

This location is terrible. The lady that took my order was ok, but that’s it. The other lady that handles people’s food was the worst. Highly unsanitary. She was smacking on food the whole time and had her hands in and out her mouth. She even took some food out of her mouth to talk to her coworker, then put it back in her mouth. Not one time did she go wash her nasty hands before handing the orders. The total disregard for germs, the customers, and the image of the company was crazy. I almost felt like it had to be a prank. The saddest part is, I could go on and on with even more. I will absolutely never think about eating there again. Horrible.

The worst wait time I’ve ever seen in my life. I mean I felt like I was waiting in the emergency room at UMC. Waited for a beef burger 6 piece wings and fries at 5:42pm and literally didn’t get my order until 6:31 pm. In the meantime how many people came and went who got their food you ask……well I lost count after 12 smh. I give up American Deli everyone was right your wait time is giving waiting on a cook to show up for their shift when it was clearly at least 5 (I counted) of you there. I won’t let it happen again.

Ordered the wings and chicken philly to go. The wings were TINY and the Philly was saturated in salt and was not fully dress as describe on menu. If you suggest I take it back and have it remade, that’s a big no no. Tried that before and did not want any friction. Would not recommend.
