I got the lemon garlic hot wet 6 piece wings with fries and an orange Fanta . It was $15. The cashier was kind and showed me the food before we left to make sure we felt like it was a good portion. The cooks were serving it uppp!!! My wings are crispy, cooked well, and still busting with flavor. I don’t normally like wings but these are delicious and the fries with the seasoning salt are . I’m so happy we went here!

Today was my first time eating at this American Deli. I had heard mixed reviews but decided to give it a try since someone recommended them to me today. The cashier was nice and knowledgeable. My biggest 3 complaints are the cost, quality of my wings, and portion size. I paid 17.58 for my lunch only for my wings to taste like they were fried yesterday and they were barely warm. Next disappointment, was the portion I received. I ordered the Philly steak combo with wings and added fries. Most American Deli’s fill both compartments inside of plate up with fries and place wing in a separate container. However, today all of my food was on one plate. Now I’m not sure as to why this particular American Deli gives small portions of food. My only thought is because they are one of few wing spots located here in Selma therefore they don’t have much competition here therefore they can get away with it. On the plus side, my Philly was great! But please do better! Thanks. Sincerely a person who loves Philly’s and wings!! I also have a picture as proof!

The prices are too high for the small quantity of food. The food you purchase does not reflect the photos on the overhead menu. It’s false advertisement. The wings appear to come from a baby chick. Also be careful about going there at night. They allow unruly and dangerous crowds in their parking lot. Someone was murdered there this year and they still won’t hire security.

Just had a fantastic meal and wanted to give a shout-out to Tamika and JD for making the experience extra special! From the moment we walked in, their friendly smiles and attentiveness made us feel so welcome. They were super helpful with recommendations and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.
The food was delicious, but honestly, the service was what really stood out. It’s rare to find people who genuinely care about making your dining experience memorable. Tamika and JD definitely went above and beyond!

Ordered the shrimp fried rice and wings (sweet chili) combo and it was good. The fried rice was decent but the wings are surprisingly good. The service was ok, the food came out fairly quickly. The dining area/atmosphere is not inviting so I recommend taking your food to go.

This is my second time coming here because I honestly felt like maybe the first time they were having a bad day, but that’s not it. My food wasn’t even cold, the food came out 2 seconds after I placed the order. The wings are either cooked the night before but they are not fresh and it shows but they pull of the chicken. The people of this city are used to eating this mess because it’s the only wing spot but the food is terrible.

American Deli in Selma never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Their wings are hands down some of the best I’ve ever had crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the sauces are chef’s kiss. I highly recommend the lemon pepper and hot flavors!

I got there and there were 2 people in front on me. The girl taking the orders starting talking to her friend about Prom. She blew off the lady in front of me for about 5 minutes. She took her order, then started to take my order, but told another guy he had to help me because she wanted to look at the girls phone. I ordered wings. They had my order ready in 5 minutes. Which told me the wings were pre cooked. They gave me 2 little pieces of celery and didn’t get my blue cheese right. They were completely uninterested in what was going on. Wings were small and overcooked.
