They have a lot of options and I finally found my new go-to meal- the grilled chicken Philly sandwich. The spot is spacious & clean and my food is always hot when I order takeout.

American Deli has done it again !! Every time the food is amazing. This is my #1 spot in the neighborhood to get my wings. I HIGHLY recommend bone in HOT wings, with the ham and turkey sub ! The wings are tasty, crispy, and the hot is my favorite. The sub is so close to a home style made sub that I feel like family when I eat it. I also really love their Philly cheesesteak. It took me a long time to find a spot in Savannah that served a Philly that’s closest to the real deal Philly. But they have it in my opinion.

P.S. To all the reviews about the wings being small. Yes, the wings are small, but honestly that’s one of the reasons I love them. They are crispy and easy to take a whole wing in my mouth !! No shame in my game. You can pay $15 for 10 small DELICIOUS flavored wings or go to Buffalo Wild Wings and pay a ton for just 5 wings.
You like what you like. Everyone will have their own opinion. But I recommend trying them out.

The wings seriously I’ve never seen such tiny wings paying a dollar a wing to receive a bone with “one” tiny bite of chicken on it that’s of course dry overcooked! Just moved here looking for my new wing place not here! it’s a shame bc the sauce was actually really good

6/29/25 I was going to order a burger for lunch and then I noticed that a burger by itself is $11. No thank you. Going to Checkers.
I stopped coming here a couple years ago because the portions were so small and not worth the money. Went there yesterday and got a lamb filly. It was so good and the portion was a lot bigger and worth the $11. The fries were hot and crispy. I did ask for a lemonade and got this orange sugar water, which was disgusting and I couldn’t drink.

Came here today for lunch.. This is my first time ever eating at an American Deli.. And sadly will be my last at this location. The food was horrible. The fries were hard and over cooked. The wings tasted like lemon cleaner.. I ordered lemon pepper wings and The Philly cheesesteaks was a greasy mess.

I haven’t been to an American Deli in at least 4 years and I was craving wings so I decided to go to the one on Victory Dr. It was clean in there and the associate who was raking my order was nice. I didn’t like that he had his mask just pulled to his chin but I digress. I asked him how big the wings were and he estimated with his fingers indicating they were a decent size. I placed my order for a 6 piece, all flats hot lemon pepper wing combo with fries and a drink. Once it was ready the first thing I noticed was how small my wings were! They were about the same length as my pinkie, dry looking and quite pitiful. When I asked the associate about the size he made an excuse and said they come like that sometimes. I asked to speak to management to see if I could get a few more wings and he begrudgingly said he would give me ‘2’ more! I understand we’re in the middle of a pandemic and production is down but what about ‘quality’? And why are we overloading the plate with sub-par fries to try to hide the fact that the wings are pitiful. I have never been this disappointed after eating my wings as I am today. American Deli please do better. This was not worth the money.

Order food for delivery and asked for ranch and utensils and didn’t got any. It also took over 30 minutes to find a driver to pick up my food just ridiculous. May arrive and it was cold it okay. I truly did wish that I got my ranch and utensils that I specifically asked for.
