Cheesesteak was needed, and a cheesecake is what they had. They gave me exactly what I was looking for, and if the bread had been harder it would’ve been better than most Philly cheesesteaks from Philadelphia.

A very weirdly placed American Deli with very mediocre food.
Don’t get me wrong, the ladies at the drive through were very nice but the place really needs to update on the quality of the food.
The only thing that was good was the fries and the sweet tea.
I don’t know what happened with the Chicken Philly Cheesesteak but it tasted like it was microwaved for 3 minutes only to reheat it, and the cheese is either old or not real cheese. It had no flavor and I didn’t even bother eating the second half. I only tolerated and was able to eat the first half because I used ketchup.

Had the Philly steak combo with lemon pepper wings- the wings pack a punch for how tiny they are, good flavor, but not a lot of meat. The sandwich is substantial, and pretty tasty, but it is greasy. Overall solid.

I eat here 3 times out of the week and everything is always fresh and made the way I ask! Customer service is great and atmosphere even better! Keep up the Great work! It’s 3 more American delis in Athens and the on West broad street is most definitely top tier!

First, this is not a deli. No fresh cut salami here. It serves everything from sandwiches and wings to gyro. Not much atmosphere in the dining area….seems cold and stark, but the service was fast and the food was good. I had a Phili Steak sandwich drink and fries for $8 which was very tasty. Fries were salted in front of you, so you can have them salted to your taste.

American deli as a franchise has very good food but in this particular location, I’ve gotten raw chicken twice and the cook came out and pretty much told me to shut up and eat it. Will not be going back. Try the one the east side, better food, better service and a much cleaner facility.
