We stopped by American Deli for lunch, and overall the food was solid. The wings were good. I recommend the sweet chili sauce and the fries were decent. No complaints about the taste. That said, I did feel like $26 for two lunch combos was a bit pricey. It’s not that the food wasn’t good, but for a casual spot, the value didn’t fully match the price. Just something to keep in mind if you’re grabbing a quick lunch.

Basically aa normal of a tucker lil restaurant as you can get. The landscaping is asphalt when you walk in 7 employees will be directly behind the counter arguing amongst themselves until the all notice you simultaneously at which point, in unison everyone exchanges their point of view they are trying to impose on their coworker with a rough, “what the heck do you want” glare directly into your soul. If you know about the Holy Moly Donought shop and you would love to eat there than this is gona be perfect. For all the other people that care about what they ingest I would not recommend this one….if there are some reviews that might make you think, “hey, I like cheesesteaks too.” GO ahead and waste your gas and time but when you get there make sure to post up at the counter where you pay and watch what your food is cooked on, cooked with, the level of love and dedication to the arts of culinary that oozes from every intention the chef does, or better yet uses discretion to be sure he/she doesn’t overdue it. Oh yea I almost forgot, guiness book of w.r. said to let you know you guys had the “retains the most grease for consecutive years” record back in 1978, you can use new stuff, clean the traps and all the cooking equipment now.

So yesterday evening i entered the establishment as a door dasher i was greeted by a older hispanic man i did not catch his name he was so kind and so busy assisting everyone not only us but once no one needed help at the counter he began to assist the kitchen team i had 2 orders i got the first one from him and let him know the name of the second order he told me 10 – 15 mins as he went to help his team an older Asian man came to the counter i went to my car waiting patiently then came back inside made sure the guest were assisted before asking again so were like 20 mins in at this point so i ask the hispanic but he was so busy working orders and didn’t have time to look so i asked the Asian and let him know ive been waiting 24 mins for rice he’s like he doesn’t know didn’t look and started calling out orders for pick up so i finally hear my order and i asked him for soy sauce and duck sauce per customers request he picked up a hand full looked at me dropped them all and picked up 2 sauces i asked if they could have more than 2 and he said they charge 25 cents a pack (ive never heard this from American deli this man charged me 54 cents i have photos time stamped ) for 1 duck sauce 1 soy sauce he refused to tell his name

I do not recommend this place to anyone, not even the homeless. I can’t believe I brought my family here to dine in. The level of service was horrible. We came at 7:30pm. I’m assuming the closing time for this particular location on Sunday night was 8:30 because around 8:15 my family was told they were closed and we needed to stop eating and exit the building so they could go home. I would never return here not even to spend a $1.50 on a bowl of fries. The staff here is not diverse at all, they were all of spanish decent, Mexican I believe. I’m not sure if we were treated so poorly because we are an African American family. Before sitting down I politely asked the lady to clean a table for us so that my family and I could sit together, she looked at me confused and told me that she would take care of it. She just left the building and never returned, forcing my family to sit at separate tables and then rushing us out to lock up the doors. They didn’t clean off the tables, nor did they take out the trash and they were halfway out the door before I could even get my chicken bone out of my mouth into the trash can. Their cars left the parking lot before I could even get my car started. Pictures listed is how the place was left on my way out. We even asked them if they were going to clean the tables and take out the trash and they just told us to hurry up they had to close the building. I’m disgusted and I pray this food doesn’t make us sick.

10-9-18 – Wings – had Lemon Pepper wet, Honey Hot, and Hot wings; large fry; and 2-liter of Sprite. Not too crowded, but quite full and all were satisfied. Great service from behind the counter and the cooks as well. They all made sure we were taken care of. The food came out in good time, and was hot and fresh. All American Deli’s aren’t the same, from the service to the size of the wings, to the containers they are placed in. I enjoy this location over other one’s, since before my go-to wing place was Atlanta’s Best Wings on Memorial Drive.
8-27-18 – Decided on some wings while out, and over this way. Not a fan of American Deli, but I just may have to jump on-board at least at this location. Ordered hot and lemon paper wet wings, fries, and a 2-liter soda. The service was professional and timely. Since it was closing soon only 2 orders were ahead of us. Didn’t take long, and the lemon pepper wet wings were on point. Others I have had weren’t as seasoned and tasty. The hot wings were spicy as well. The fries were ok. Overall we were well pleased. It is a stand alone building, easily seen from the road. May have to go back and try the Chicken Philly Cheese steak sandwich.

Every time we go here it’s so slow. The establishment usually has panhandlers outside…just ghetto. The food is good but the poor customer service and presentation always makes me feel like not going back.

This American Deli is one of my favorite spots for wings. The wings are nice and crispy and bigger than other places. The fries are nice and crispy but you can ask for them crispy. My favorite sauce is hot and I add lemon pepper sprinkles. I tried the garlic parmesan today and I am not a fan. Buffalo Wild Wings garlic parmesan are better than these. The combo comes with a drink as well.

Despite living just one mile from this place, I had never been there before. Since it was snowing yesterday, this was the only place open to eat. I didn’t expect much from this place, but it turned out to be really good. It’s clean, the employees are friendly, the food is great, and the prices are reasonable as well. So I went there again today. Yesterday, we had Philly cheese sandwiches, wings and Salad and today, we had a hamburger and wings. I’m glad I finally tried this place.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was not a good experience at all. I went around 8:30pm, so the environment may have reflected the overall day. My food was odd tasting and the chicken had a strange texture and aftertaste. Overall, the food was not fresh and not pleasant to eat.
The server at the register did try to help with my order. But I wish I could have just kept the money and gone to a different location.
