I went here on my lunch break. The lady had an entire spread although she did not actually prepare the food it was gross to think about her being unsanitary in front of customers with no remorse.what does she do when no one’s looking? Additionally there was some odd passive aggressiveness about how to hold the bag. She opened it for me to put my hand through the handle but I wanted to touching her hands I grabbed the bag instead. Had I not been on a time crunch I would have gone somewhere else. I won’t be going here anytime soon. My food was also done extremely fast which is alarming. I’m all for fast food but not at the cost of salmonella.

I went to this location for lunch today and ordered a 10 piece sweet chili wings with fries and a drink. The young lady who took my order was very nice, quick, and helpful. When my order was ready and the older lady gave me my food there was 4 ketchup packets and and I asked for more ketchup, she states she had already given me three, as if that would be enough for the 5,000 fries I have, so she only gave me 2 more. Then I grabbed some more napkins because why she thought 2 was enough, I don’t know, and she says I already put napkins in the bag lady, really??!! If it’s such a bother to give adequate condiments, why even be in business? The food was hot and fresh, but I probably won’t visit the location again.

My experience here Was great Thanks to the cashier, Ms .Nakia She was so sweet patient and kind hearted ! I was very grateful to have someone that actually understand me . The food looks delicious and I’m pretty sure he’s great my purpose. My review is for great customer service that I recieved today .!

I ordered 4 orders today and the last behind the counter was rude and actually said hurry up and place your order several times. This was the 6.99 special advertised. I will not go back to this establishment and give them another dollar for the quality of the food I was given. Weekday a first impression. I like American Deli as a whole but have a problem with the customer service in our neighborhoods. Franchises should have pride in their company and screen potential owners better. This is not the first time I’ve run into the same issues with the American Deli’s in this are.

First time visiting an American Deli. Surprised at the variety. Ladies were SUPER sweet and helpful. Food came out fresh and hot. The ONLY disappointment was seating. But, that would not deter me in any way to come back here! The Philly was amazing!

The picture below is NOT from this location on memorial drive. It’s from the Ponce De Leon location where I live … downtown Decatur. I wanted some American Deli but I wanted it done right and I didn’t want to deal with an unprofessional cashier that curse out people and use a lot of profanity on Facebook and stay on their phone the whole work duty.
The first time I came in there, the cashier was so loud and obnoxious on the phone that I couldn’t think straight nor get my order right. THE SECOND TIME I went in there about a week later, I actually got my order right and they STILL did it wrong. I come home, park and walk to the Ponce De Leon location in my neighborhood and order and boom … got everything I wanted.
Please let go of that loud mouth cashier you all have using tons of profanity and messing up orders … and hire someone more professional. I can tell you all are giving the high school kids an opportunity to make money and I don’t know their hustle .. but please teach them some professionalism or hire a kid who’s going places and not taking advantage of the opportunity to advance and make something of themselves.

Asain lady at the counter has horrible attitude. After being on the road all day tired and hungry, I decided to stop at this location for something to eat. Meanwhile I also had to use the bathroom really bad so I figure I’ll just use it while I stopped here. So I go in and head to the bathroom, the Asian lady at the counter stops me and ask where am I going. I tell her I’m going to restroom. She then tells me I can’t use the restroom unless I buy something. So I explain to her that it is my every intention to buy something, I just need to run to the restroom really quick after being on the road all day. She says “I DON’T CARE, BUY SOMETHING FIRST!” I couldn’t believe how rude she was. Not to mention inconsiderate. After that I didn’t even want eat there anymore and left. Now if she just politely said that I needed to buy something first, then by all means I would have no problem with that, but it was her blatant disrespectful attitude that caught me off gaurd. “I DONT CARE!” Really lady, are you serious?

I really am trying to be open-minded with establishments such as American Deli but absolutely not with this establishment…I will say they had good customer service but I was really unhappy with my wings…they were $13 and extremely small and then had an old taste..the manager with extreme hesitation eventually replaced my wings…they did apologize about their store policy. It’s ok I won’t ever bother them again as this is not the area I frequent anyways.. Carry on
